Modular electrical connector assembly
A connector assembly comprises a first subassembly having a male contact and a first inner housing accommodating the male contact, a second subassembly having a female contact configured to be mated with the male contact and a second inner housing accommodating the female contact, a first connector, and a second connector matable with the first connector. The first connector has a first outer housing accommodating one of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly. The second connector has a second outer housing accommodating the other of the first subassembly and the second subassembly and capable of accommodating both the first subassembly and the second subassembly.
METHOD FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE (EMI) PROTECTION FOR A CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY USING A CONDUCTIVE SEAL
A method for reducing the effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI) to provide EMI protection to a connector assembly having at least one electrically conductive seal, a female connector assembly, and a male connector assembly. The method for reducing the effect of the EMI in the connector assembly includes the steps of: conducting the EMI, generated by at least a wire housed within the connector assembly (or other source), to a corresponding wire shielding that respectively surrounds the wire and to a corresponding crimped ferrule that surrounds the wire shielding; conducting the EMI through the female connector assembly and through the male connector assembly; and ultimately conducting the EMI to a housing of a device onto which the conductor assembly is connected or mounted.
Adjustable Depth Electrical Wall Mount Ring
An adjustable depth electrical wall mount ring can include a base ring and a finishing ring. The base ring can be configured to be attached to a junction box. The finishing ring can be configured to be adjusted relative to a ring portion of the base ring to extend away from the junction box through a wall layer. Adjusting the finishing ring can cause one or more outward extensions on the finishing ring to bear on an exterior surface of a wall layer and thereby urge the junction box towards the wall layer.
Advanced panel mount connector and method
A panel mount connector and method involve a connector shell assembly that is configured to be received in an opening that is defined by a panel with the connector shell defining a through passage. A flexible circuit board is supported within the through passage and defines a first external connection interface at one end for external electrical access from one side of the panel when the connector shell assembly is installed in the panel and at least the first external connection interface is supported for independent movement relative to the connector shell.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION DEVICE
An electrical connection device has an electrical connector and a sealing member. The connector has an insulating housing which has an abutting face. The sealing member is provided to the housing and is adapted to be abutted between the face and a panel of an electronic device. The sealing member has an annular body, two first annular ribs, a plurality of second annular ribs and a plurality of positioning posts. The annular body has first and second surfaces and a plurality of penetrating holes penetrating the first and second surfaces. The first annular ribs respectively protrude from the first and second surfaces, and are adapted to respectively abut the panel and the face. The second annular ribs respectively protrude from the first and second surfaces, encircle the penetrating holes respectively, and are adapted to abut the panel and the face.
Coaxial cable bonding/grounding blocks having an integrated ground wire
A ground block may include a metal ground plate and a ground wire fixedly coupled with the metal ground plate. The ground wire is configured to be non-detachable from the ground block during normal use of the ground block. The ground block may be formed by soldering, brazing, or clamping the ground wire to the metal ground plate.
Electrical Connector
A connector includes a housing having a thread post at a first end and a thread head at a second end opposite to the first end, an insulation body received in the housing, a terminal disposed in the insulation body and received in the housing, and an electromagnetic shielding mechanism. The electromagnetic shielding mechanism is welded on a surface of the thread head adjacent to the thread post.
Shelf system having electrical supply
A shelf system having electrical supply includes at least one backboard and at least one power adjustment mechanism. Each power adjustment mechanism has a socket and a plug. The backboard has a through hole. The socket has an inserting cylinder inserted in the through hole and a clamping portion. The clamping portion has a connecting cylinder, a flange disposed on the connecting cylinder, and a wedge buckle disposed on the connecting cylinder and spaced from the flange. The backboard is sandwiched between the wedge buckle and the flange. The plug is a cylindrical portion inserted in the connecting cylinder. The plug can be arranged on the backboard and the socket can be inserted on the plug. Even if the shelf has been assembled, a user may quickly install the power adjustment mechanism into the shelf.
CONTACT UNIT FOR A BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE
The invention relates to a contact unit (25) for a fast charging system for electrically driven vehicles, in particular electric busses or the like, and to a contact device and a fast charging system, the fast charging system comprising a charging contact device and a contact device having a contact unit carrier, the contact unit carrier having the contact unit, a charging contact of the charging contact device being electrically connectable with the contact unit to form a contact pair, the contact device comprising a positioning device, the contact unit carrier being positionable relative to the charging contact device by means of the positioning device in such a manner that an electrically conductive connection to a vehicle and a fixed charging station can be formed, the contact unit having a contact element (34), the contact element being displaceable relative to the contact unit carrier in the direction of its longitudinal axis (44) in a contact element guide (39) of the contact unit, the contact unit having a connecting lead (37) for being connected to the vehicle, wherein the connecting lead is attached to a contact element.
Improvements to electrical apparatus
The invention relates is to apparatus and components which can be provided and used in order to improve the manufacture of electrical apparatus which includes one or more connectors for the connection of one or more cables thereto. One type of connector to which the invention is suited is known as an F type connector. The invention allows a connection to be achieved using securing means to secure the connector body to a housing wall and access to be gained to the securing means whilst allowing the securing means to be substantially masked from external view as the securing means are substantially located with a recess portion formed in the wall.
