The present invention provides an electrical connector, cables, an insulation sleeve, a latch member, and a fastener. One end of the electrical connector is provided with a coupling portion, and wiring holes are defined on the other end of the electrical connector opposite to the coupling portion. The cables are inserted in the wiring holes respectively. The insulation sleeve covers the junction of the electrical connector and each of the cables, and the coupling portion protrudes out of the insulation sleeve. The latch member is disposed corresponding to one side of the electrical connector. The fastener is disposed corresponding to the other side of the electrical connector.

The mating electrical connector has an actuating element, which can be moved between a home position (P.sub.0) and a locking position (P.sub.1) and is designed to cooperate with a guiding element of the electrical connector in such a way that the plug-in connection, proceeding from a pre-latching position, assumes a locked position when the actuation element is moved from the home position (P.sub.0) into the locking position (P.sub.1). The electrical connector has a toothing and the mating electrical connector has a mating toothing, which corresponds to the toothing of the electrical connector, the toothing and the mating toothing mesh with one another in the locked position of the plug-in connection.
