RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR
A receptacle connector capable of preventing a damage caused by an insertion of a plug connector having a different standard. The receptacle connector may include: a receptacle shell; a contact pin coupling part into which a contact pin of a plug connector is inserted; and a plug shell coupling part providing an insertion space for a plug shell of the plug connector, between the receptacle shell and the contact pin coupling part. The plug shell coupling part may include: a fixed part fixed to the receptacle shell; and extension parts. A part of the extension parts may be first extension parts, the other part of the extension parts may be second extension parts, and distal end parts of the first and second extension parts may be extended on a plane perpendicular to the central axis of the fixed part, while being separated from each other.
COAXIAL CABLE AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH PRE-MOLDED PROTECTIVE BOOT
An assembly includes: a coaxial cable; a coaxial connector having an inner contact and an outer conductor body, the outer conductor body having a rear portion electrically connected with the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to form a joint; and a protective boot that overlies a forward portion of the coaxial cable and the rear portion of the outer conductor body to protect the joint between the coaxial cable and the connector. The boot comprises a body with a bore extending therethrough and includes a cable sealing section at one end that interference fits with the jacket of the cable to provide sufficient support for coaxial cable and creates a first seal with the jacket of the cable. The boot further including a feature within the bore that engages the outer conductor body forward of the electrical connection between the outer conductor and the outer conductor body.

EMI reduction within a connector using a feed-through capacitor
An EMI filtering, coaxial power connector may be formed as an inline component or a port of a device. The connector may have dimensions to accept F-type coaxial connectors. The connector includes a conductive outer shell with a first opening and a second opening. A dielectric member is disposed within the shell. A conductive pin is supported by the dielectric member. A feed-through capacitor has a central opening and a first lead formed within the central opening. The pin is electrically connected to the first lead. A second lead of the capacitor is formed at an outer perimeter of the capacitor and is electrically connected to the shell. A metal plate is mounted within the shell. The plate is disk-shaped with a central hole. An outer perimeter of the plate is in electrical contact with the shell. The pin passes through the central hole without making electrical contact with the plate, and the plate resides between the second opening of the shell and the capacitor.
