Receptacle connector
A receptacle connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive terminals fastened to the insulating housing, and a shielding element surrounding the insulating housing. The insulating housing has at least one docking surface. A portion of the at least one docking surface protrudes outward to form a protruding portion. Front ends of the conductive terminals are exposed to a front of the at least one docking surface. At least one portion of a front surface of the base body protrudes frontward to form at least one sealing board. A front end of the at least one sealing board opens a locking groove. The at least one sealing board is attached to a substantial middle of the insulating housing. The protruding portion is received in the locking groove and seals up the front end of the at least one sealing board. The protruding portion helps to reduce metal chips from being produced during interconnection of the receptacle connector with a plug connector.
SHUTTERED KEYSTONE JACK ASSEMBLY
A shuttered keystone jack assembly is provided in the disclosure. The shutter keystone jack assembly includes a jack housing, a frame, a shutter and an elastic member. The frame is detachably disposed on the jack housing and defining a receiving opening. The shutter is pivotally connected to the frame and selectively covering the receiving opening. The elastic member includes a first end portion and a second end portion, and the first end portion and the second end portion respectively abut against the frame and the shutter.

Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes: a conductive terminal including: a connector-side connecting part; a substrate-side connecting part; and an L-shaped bent part therebetween; a housing including: a terminal-holding hole holding the conductive terminal between the connector-side connecting part and the bent part; and an opening capable of exposing the substrate-side connecting part. The opening is used for connecting a circuit substrate. An alignment member is attached toward the substrate-side connecting part of the conductive terminal so as to close the opening. The alignment member is engaged with the housing in a state where the substrate-side connecting part projects from a through hole for inserting the conductive terminal therein. The engaging unit preventing the substrate-side connecting part of the conductive terminal from moving to the bent part, is provided between the conductive terminal and the through hole.
Tamper evident cable seal
A cable seal is provided for attachment to a cable connector. The cable seal generally includes a base portion and a breakaway portion. The breakaway includes a tooth which is positioned under the cable release lever to prevent removal of the cable connector from a communications port. If removal of the cable seal is desired, a breakaway portion of the cable seal is permanently detached from the remainder of the cable seal evidencing access to the port has been gained.
Communication connector having contact pads contacted by movable contact members
A communication outlet for use with a communication plug comprising a plurality of plug contacts. The outlet includes contact pads, contact members, and a biasing member. The contact members each have an electrically conductive portion attached to an electrically non-conductive portion. Each of the conductive portions forms an electrical connection with a different corresponding one of the contact pads. Each of the contact members is movable with respect to its corresponding contact pad. The contact members are movable with respect the plug contacts. The biasing member is attached to the non-conductive portion of each of the contact members and is configured to bias the conductive portion of each of the contact members toward a different corresponding one of the plug contacts when the plug is inserted into the outlet.

CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL WIRE UNIT
A connector having favorable crosstalk characteristics and common conversion characteristics and high noise immunity is provided. The connector includes a first connector having at least one pair of first terminals disposed in one housing and a second connector that includes at least one pair of second terminals disposed in another housing, and configured to be connected to the one pair of first terminals. The connector includes at least one first terminal surrounding conductors fixed inside the one housing, individually surrounding the pairs of first terminals, and are insulated from other members, and at least one second terminal surrounding conductors are fixed inside the other housing, individually surrounding the pairs of second terminals, and are insulated from other members. When the first terminals are respectively connected to the second terminals, the first terminal surrounding conductors are respectively connected to the corresponding second terminal surrounding conductors as well.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector assembly includes: a plug connector including an insulative housing, plural conductive terminals arranged in two rows and affixed to the insulative housing, and a metal shell enclosing the insulative housing, the insulative housing comprising a top wall having plural first grooves, and each conductive terminal comprising a fixed portion affixed to a corresponding first groove and exposed to the metal shell; and a receptacle connector including an insulative body, plural mating terminals affixed to the insulative body, and a shielding shell enclosing the insulative body, the shielding shell having a tuber extending inwardly; wherein the tuber resists against a surface of the metal shell when the plug connector is mated with the receptacle connector.
