KEYSTONE JACK ASSEMBLY
A keystone jack assembly includes a jack housing, a piercing contact housing disposed on the jack housing, a plurality of piercing contacts mounted on the piercing contact housing, a wire cap movably disposed on the piercing contact housing and a cover pivotally connected to the jack housing. The wire cap includes a cap main body, at least one first guiding portion, at least one second guiding portion and a third guiding portion. The cover includes two covering parts, and each covering part includes a main body, at least one first contact portion, at least one second contact portion and a third contact portion. The first contact portion abuts against the first guiding portion, the second contact portion abuts against the second guiding portion and the third contact portion abuts against the third guiding portion in order as the two covering parts pivots toward each other.

Communication Jack Having a Dielectric Film Between Plug Interface Contacts
Embodiments of the present invention relate to designs for network jacks which can be used for cable connectivity. In an embodiment, the present invention is an RJ45 jack that utilizes a thin dielectric film between two layers of PICs that provide crosstalk compensation by way of their geometry. Compensation is achieved by way of capacitor plates which sandwich a thin dielectric film. This allows for the layers of PICs to be in close proximity and achieve higher coupling where desired, allowing a greater amount of compensation to occur close to the plug/jack contact point. This can have the effect of moving compensation closer to the plug/jack contact point, which in turn may reduce the amount of compensation needed further along the data path.

RJ Communication Connectors
A communication system includes a modified RJ45 plug and a modified RJ45 jack. The modified RJ45 plug can have two potential contact points that may serve as an electrical interface between the jack's plug interface contacts (PICs) and the plug's contacts. The first contact point is in the IEC-60603-7 preferred electrical mating point location, and allows for backwards connectivity and interoperability with other RJ45 female connectors (jacks). The second contact point is designed to be activated when the modified RJ45 plug is mated with the modified RJ45 jack. The modified RJ45 jack has two distinct surfaces on the PICs such that one surface meets the IEC-60603-7 preferred electrical mating point location and allows for backwards connectivity and interoperability with conventional RJ45 male connectors (plugs). The second contact surface is designed to be activated when the modified RJ45 jack is mated with the modified RJ45 plug.

Hybrid connector for both electrical and optical transmission
A hybrid plug connector including an insulative housing defining a cavity to receive an optical fiber assembly therein, and a plurality of passageways to receive a plurality of terminals therein. A printed circuit board is located behind the terminals and connected to the terminals. An electrical cable is mounted to a rear portion of the circuit board. The whole optical fiber assembly is received within the housing and is somewhat back and forth moveable along a front-to-back direction for buffering for compliantly coupling with another optical fiber assembly built within the complementary receptacle connector when the plug connector is inserted into the complementary receptacle connector. An attachment shows the manufacturing process.
