A bus bar assembly includes bus bars and a bus bar holder that is made of an insulating material and holds the bus bars in a non-contact state. The bus bars include base portions that overlap with other bus bars in the axial direction, and connecting portions extending from the base portions along the radial direction. At least two of the bus bars include stepped portions extending toward the other bus bars between proximal ends of the connecting portions and connection ends connected to windings. The bus bar holder molds the base portions and the stepped portions in a state where the connection ends are exposed.

A power distribution assembly with boltless busbar system for electrically and mechanically connecting a component to a power source is disclosed. The power distribution assembly includes an interconnecting busbar segment that connects two boltless busbar system together. Each boltless busbar system includes a male busbar assembly and a female busbar assembly. The male busbar assembly includes a male terminal, internal spring member, internal male housing, and external male housing that receives an extent of the male terminal, the internal spring member, and the internal male housing. This male terminal includes a side wall arrangement that defines a receiver and further includes at least one contact arm. An internal spring member with at least one spring arm resides within the male terminal receiver. The female busbar assembly includes a female terminal with a receptacle that is dimensioned to receive both the male terminal and the spring member in a connected position to secure the female busbar assembly to the male busbar assembly.

The remote racking device rotates the bus plug relative to the busway about a rotation axis defined by the mechanical assembly based on mechanical interaction of the first mechanical component and the second mechanical component. Methods of connecting and disconnecting a bus plug relative to a busway with a remote racking device are also provided.

A connector assembly for connecting a bus bar to an electrical component. The connector assembly includes an electrically conductive housing defining an inner cavity. A plurality of canted coil contacts are partially disposed within the inner cavity and protrude therefrom so as to be partially disposed outside the housing. The coil contacts are electrically connected to the housing. A first end portion of an electrically conductive, flexible bridge is connected to the housing. A second end portion of the bridge is configured for connection to the electrical component. A holding apparatus holds the housing against the bus bar such that the coil contacts are pressed against the bus bar to make an electrical connection therewith.
