A device has a wiring terminal for connecting a busbar, the wiring terminal has a connecting rod, which partly inserts into the wiring terminal and has an interference fit with the wiring terminal, the connecting rod has a conductive first column portion that has an interference fit with the busbar, the first column portion axially arranges a conductive second column portion that has an interference fit with the first column portion, the second column portion is located inside of the first column portion, a thermal expansion coefficient of the second column portion is greater than that of the first column portion, a resistivity of the second column portion is greater than that of the first column portion, a material of the second column portion is an aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a material of the first column portion is a copper or a copper alloy.
ELONGATED BUSBAR BOARD
An elongated busbar board (1) for connection of devices (11) to a power busbar system comprises a front side touch protection cover plate (2) consisting of touch protection cover plate segments (2-i) made of an electrically insulating material and having feedthrough openings (7) for electrical connection contacts (13A) of devices (11) to be connected to the elongated busbar board. The touch protection cover plate is adapted to cover power busbars (6) made of an electrically conductive material having contact openings (5) lying directly beneath the feedthrough openings and comprises a touch protection base plate (3) connected to the touch protection cover plate and consisting of touch protection base plate segments (3-i) made of the electrically insulating material and adapted to cover the power busbars enclosed by the elongated busbar board from behind, wherein a thermal expansion difference caused by different thermal expansion coefficients of the electrically insulating material and of the electrically conductive material is compensated.
Connector and manufacturing method thereof
Disclosed are a connector and a manufacturing method thereof. The connector includes a female housing, one or more first female terminals installed in the female housing, a plurality of second female terminals installed side by side with the first female terminals in the female housing and connected to wires, a first terminal holder having a plurality of terminal grooves to allow the one or more first female terminals to be selectively coupled thereto, the first terminal holder being fastened to the female housing in a state in which the first female terminals are coupled, and a bus bar installed in the first terminal holder to allow one of the one or more first female terminals installed in the plurality of terminal grooves and the second female terminals to be connected thereto.

An apparatus and a method for optically linking at least two AC and DC low voltage cascading power grids connecting at least two intelligent support boxes (ISB) each powered by two distinct AC standard power grid and separately powered by DC low voltage power grid with each grid is further linked by a cascading segments of optical cable grid, enabling two way control, operate and report electrical activity through plug in wiring devices (PWD) for supporting DC and AC plurality of connected/attached loads.
Battery wiring module
A battery wiring module has a novel structure with which workability of a wire routing process can be improved and is able to prevent or reduce the occurrence of misrouting. A battery wiring module includes a plurality of busbars that electrically connect adjacent battery cells of a plurality of battery cells arranged in a row, a plurality of coated wires connected at one end to an external connection terminal and a connecting part provided at the other end being connected to one of the busbars, a wire routing body in which a busbar housing frame that houses the busbars and a wire routing passage that routes the coated wires are provided, and a sub-assembly protector that is mounted to the wire routing body, the sub-assembly protector holding a plurality of coated wires.
RELAY CONNECTOR AND BUSBAR
A relay connector connects a plurality of front female terminals that are fitted from a front side in a front-rear direction and a plurality of rear female terminals that are fitted from a rear side in the front-rear direction together. The relay connector includes a housing and a busbar. The housing includes a front insertion recess portion, a rear insertion recess portion, an intermediate wall portion, and a busbar holding portion disposed at the intermediate wall portion. The busbar includes a base portion, a rear tab, an extension portion extending from the base portion to the same side in an up-down direction, and a front tab extending from an extension end of the extension portion to the front-insertion-recess-portion side. The rear tab includes a rear held portion adjacent to the base portion and a rear male terminal portion housed in the rear insertion recess portion. The front tab includes a front held portion adjacent to the extension end of the extension portion and a front male terminal portion housed in the front insertion recess portion. The busbar holding portion includes a first holding portion that holds the rear held portion of the rear tab, a second holding portion that holds the front held portion of the front tab, and a third holding portion that holds the extension portion.
POWER DISTRIBUTION ASSEMBLY WITH BOLTLESS BUSBAR SYSTEM
A power distribution assembly with boltless busbar system for electrically and mechanically connecting a component to a power source is disclosed. The power distribution assembly includes an interconnecting busbar segment that connects two boltless busbar system together. Each boltless busbar system includes a male busbar assembly and a female busbar assembly. The male busbar assembly includes a male terminal, internal spring member, internal male housing, and external male housing that receives an extent of the male terminal, the internal spring member, and the internal male housing. This male terminal includes a side wall arrangement that defines a receiver and further includes at least one contact arm. An internal spring member with at least one spring arm resides within the male terminal receiver. The female busbar assembly includes a female terminal with a receptacle that is dimensioned to receive both the male terminal and the spring member in a connected position to secure the female busbar assembly to the male busbar assembly.
JOINT CONNECTOR
A joint connector includes the plurality of wires extending in an extending direction, a plurality of terminals to be respectively connected to front end parts of the plurality of wires in the extending direction, a lower housing for accommodating the plurality of terminals, a busbar to be disposed in the lower housing, and an upper cover to be assembled with the lower housing. The busbar includes a plurality of tabs. Each of the plurality of terminals includes a tube portion, into which each of the plurality of tabs is inserted, and a wire connecting portion to be connected to each of the plurality of wires. The plurality of wires drawn out rearward in the extending direction from the lower housing include bent portions folded forward in the extending direction. The upper cover includes wire pressing portions for holding the plurality of wires folded forward in the extending direction.
Connectors for smart windows
This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity. Pre-wired spacers improve fabrication efficiency and seal integrity of insulated glass units. Electrical connection systems include those embedded in the secondary seal of the insulated glass unit.
Electrical connector having a printed circuit board for use with an active grid bus bar system
A connector for use in coupling a load device to electrical conductors of a direct current bus bar. The connector has a housing and the housing carrying a printed circuit board that is electrically coupled to the bus bar and the load device. The printed circuit board functions to control the providing of direct current power from the bus bar to the load device, provide a dimming signal to the load device, and/or selectively provide direct current from a source of emergency power to the load device.
