The second housing portion includes first and second spring features respectively configured to engage the stripped portions of the first and second wires when the first and second housing portions are secured to another in an assembled connector condition.

An electrical connector includes wiring with first and second wires. Each of the first and second wires have a conductor covered in insulation. The insulation includes webbing that interconnects the first and second wires to one another. The first and second wires have a stripped portion that exposes the conductors. A housing has first and second housing portions. The first housing portion receives the stripped portions. The second housing portion includes first and second spring features respectively configured to engage the stripped portions of the first and second wires when the first and second housing portions are secured to another in an assembled connector condition.

A light emitting body is positioned at least partially within the mounting shell, and the light emitting body extends through the second end of the mounting shell. A tail plug is positioned at least partially within the mounting shell adjacent the first end, and the tail plug includes a second plurality of grooves. The first plurality of grooves and the second plurality of grooves are aligned to form tracks configured to receive wires coupled to the light emitting body, and an outer surface of the mounting shell includes a stepped structure.

The present disclosure discloses a novel plug-in string lamp structure, which comprises a string lamp connecting line, a male connector and a female connector, wherein the string lamp connecting line is provided with a plurality of bulb components arranged in sequence, each bulb component comprises a lamp cap, a luminescent light source and a light-transmitting lampshade; the lamp cap comprises a plastic inner core which is formed with an inner core accommodating cavity, the string lamp connecting line is provided with positive and negative leads, and a positive contact terminal of the positive lead and a negative contact terminal of the negative lead are located in the inner core accommodating cavity; the lamp cap further comprises a rubber-coated member which is injection-molded into an integrated structure with the upper end of the plastic inner core, the outer skin of the positive lead and the outer skin of the negative lead.
