Drive device, hydraulic pump, motor vehicle
A drive device for a hydraulic pump of a braking system for a motor vehicle includes a housing, a rotor, a rotor shaft mounted in the housing and supporting the rotor, and a commutator arranged in the housing. The commutator includes at least one commutator brush held by a brush holder. The commutator brush cooperates with a commutator ring arranged on the rotor shaft in a non-rotatable manner. The brush holder includes a sealing ring assigned to the commutator which is arranged coaxially to the rotor shaft and interacts with the rotor shaft in a sealing manner.
FLUID PUMP AND BRUSH SPRING RETAINER THEREOF
A fluid pump includes an electric motor having an armature with a commutator and a motor frame which supports a pair of permanent magnets which are located radially outward from the armature. The motor frame has a support stem extending axially in a direction away from the commutator. A pump section is rotationally coupled to the electric motor and pumps the fluid. First and second motor brushes deliver electricity to the commutator and are urged into electrical contact with the commutator by a first and second springs. The first and second springs are mechanically grounded to a brush spring retainer fixed to the motor frame. The brush spring retainer includes a central portion having an opening within which the support stem is received in an interference fit. A support arm extends from the central portion such that the first and second springs are mechanically grounded to the support arm.
System and method for monitoring the status of one or more components of an electrical machine
A monitoring apparatus configured for monitoring a carbon brush of a brush holder assembly of an electrical machine. The monitoring apparatus may include a flexible sensor and a signal processing circuit for processing a signal received from the flexible sensor. The flexible sensor may have an electrical resistance that varies based on a radius of curvature of the flexible sensor, wherein the radius of curvature of the flexible sensor may be associated with a deflection of a spring providing a force to engage the carbon brush with a rotating component of the electrical machine. The signal processing circuit may be coupled to the sensor and may be configured to determine a measure of a wear state of the carbon brush using information about the variable resistance of the flexible sensor.
Discharging device for discharging electrical interference
A discharging device for discharging electrical interference, in particular currents, from a rotor part of a machine, said rotor part in particular being a shaft, into a stator part (17) of the machine, the discharging device having a contact device (11) comprising a contact element (13) which is accommodated in an axially displaceable manner in a guide and which is acted on by a contact force device (15) for generating a shaft contact force (F.sub.W) in order to establish electrical contact between a shaft contact surface (19) of the contact element (13) and a rotor contact surface (20) of the shaft (18), wherein the guide has a stator contact surface (25) for forming an electrical connection with the stator part (17) and the discharging device has a guide contact force device (21) for generating a guide contact force (F.sub.F) between a guide contact surface (24) of the contact element (13) and the stator contact surface (25) electrically connected to the stator part (17).
MOTOR HAVING COLUMNAR BRUSH
A motor includes a frame having an outer diameter of 10 millimeters or less and an inner surface. The motor also includes an annular magnet attached to the inner surface of the frame, a bracket provided at the frame, and a columnar brush formed of carbon and having an outer peripheral surface. In addition, the motor includes a commutator contacting the outer peripheral surface of the brush, and an elastic member supporting the brush at the bracket. A part of the elastic member is disposed inside of the columnar brush.
Power tool
A power tool includes a brush holder with a brush positioned more accurately with respect to a commutator. A grinder as a power tool includes a housing, a stator fixed to the housing, a rotor rotatable relative to the stator and including a commutator and a coil, a brush that comes in contact with the commutator, a brush-holding metal plate having a screw hole and holding the brush, and a screw extending through the screw hole and directly fastened to the housing.
Brush holder for electric traction motors for locomotives
Brush holder for electric traction motors for locomotives, included in the electrical field, refers to an improvement applied to a brush holder, used in electric traction motors for locomotives, which electric coupling device is especially adapted to sustain, support and press the brush over a commuter of an electric motor rotor, while its body is connected to electric connections, being said device structurally sustained by means of isolated shafts which are connected to the locomotive structure.
Holder for Slip Ring Brushes
A brush holder for slipring brushes comprises a brush mount held by a lever at a base. The lever is connected by a base pivot to the base and is pivotable in a plane orthogonal to a brush mount pivot axis and/or to a slipring rotation axis. A spring is provided between the base and the lever. The brush mount is connected to the lever by a brush mount pivot pivotable in said plane. The brush mount holds a first brush and a second brush wherein the brush mount pivot is between the first brush and the second brush.
Current collector and conductor line system
A current collector and a conductor line system having such a current collector. The current collector has a holder and a carbon brush arranged in carbon brush support movable relative to holder in a feed direction from and to the conductor line. The carbon brush is movable in a feed direction from and to conductor line. A better and reliable guiding of the carbon brush on the conductor line and simpler design of the current collector, uses a current collector in which the carbon brush is additionally movable in a transverse direction running essentially across the longitudinal direction, a spring element being provided between the carbon brush and holder.
