GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush, the brush having a support and a plurality of conductive disposed at least partially within the support, and a brush mounting plate rigidly secured to the support of the brush. The grounding brush is preferably formed as an open ring and has first and second ends facing each other and spaced circumferentially apart. The mounting plate includes at least one anti-rotation lug disposed within the circumferential space separating the first and second ends of the grounding brush.
GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a brush and a mounting plate, the brush including a support and a plurality of conductive fibers disposed within the support. The support includes a mounting portion and first and second lateral rims axially gripping the conductive fibers. At least one through opening is formed in the thickness of the mounting plate and the support further includes at least one tab extending through the at least one opening and having a bent free end. The bent free end interacts with the mounting plate so as to axially retain the support with respect to the mounting plate, the bent free end being located axially on the side of the mounting plate opposite to the support relative to the mounting plate.
GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush including a plurality of conductive fibers and a support inside of which the conductive fibers are mounted, and a brush mounting plate rigidly secured to the support of the brush. The mounting plate includes a plurality of centering tabs for centering the support of the brush and a plurality of securing means for rigidly securing the centering tabs to the support, the securing means being distinct from the support and from the centering tabs.
System and method for monitoring the status of one or more components of an electrical machine
Example brush holder assemblies of an electric machine are disclosed. An example brush holder assembly of an electric machine includes a carbon brush including an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. The brush holder assembly also includes one or more lead wires extending out of the carbon brush at an insertion point on the upper surface and a first cavity extending into the carbon brush from the upper surface at a location spaced away from the insertion point of the one or more lead wires and unobstructed by the one or more lead wires.
BRUSH HOLDER APPARATUS, BRUSH ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD
Devices and methods of use for brush holder assemblies are disclosed. Brush holder assemblies including a mounting block and a brush holder are disclosed. Also illustrated is a brush holder assembly including a first portion in sliding engagement with a second portion. In some embodiments the brush holder includes a channel, such that at least a portion of the mounting block is disposed within the channel of the brush holder.
BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
The present invention relates to a brush holder assembly (100) for an electric motor (1) of a motor vehicle equipment item comprising: a plate (9) intended to hold at least one connection brush (7) against a collector (6) arranged on a rotor (6) of en electric motor (1), the plate (9) extending in a plane perpendicular to said rotor (6), at least one induction coil (19) intended to be connected to said connection brush (7), the brush holder assembly (100) also comprising at least one retaining element (27) of the at least one induction coil (18) configured to hold the induction coil (19) in a plane parallel to the plate (9).
BRUSH-HOLDER SUPPORT PLATE FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR, AND CORRESPONDING BRUSH-HOLDER
Brush holder support plate (1) for an electric engine comprises a central through-hole (2) for the engine manifold and guide elements (10) for receiving brush holders (20) in sliding connection on the plate. The plate allows the brush holder to be mounted on the plate, engaging same in the direction running from the edge (1e) of the plate towards the central through-hole (2). The plate comprises a non-return stop (11) for each brush holder (20) after the latter has been mounted in sliding connection on the plate, the stop being elastically retractable. The brush holders (20) have a base shaped so as to be received in sliding connection in the guide elements (10) of the plate (1). They have a recess in the base of same suitable for being engaged by the corresponding non-return stop (11) of the plate (1).
Brush holder apparatus and system
A brush holder apparatus includes a stationary support member having at least one groove, and a fork electrical connector. The stationary support member has a conductive bar configured to pass through a portion of the stationary support member's main body. The conductive bar is configured to provide electrical conductivity with a collector mount and the fork electrical connector. A brush retainment member is configured to be releasably affixed to the stationary support member. The brush retainment member has at least one rail configured to slide along the at least one groove, and a knife electrical connector configured to mate with the fork electrical connector. The stationary support member is configured for electrical connection to a collector mount and the brush retainment member is configured to retain at least one brush.
Ring electrode for a slip ring
The invention relates to a ring electrode for a slip ring for transmitting electrical energy between machine parts, of which at least one machine part can be rotated in relation to another machine part. The ring electrode and corresponding slip ring can be economically produced and have low wear. The electrode is made of a rod material made of stainless steel, which is rolled into a ring and the free ends of the ring are brought together to form a closed ring.
