Brush assembly with brush card mount with brush holders having base and main portion pieces
An electric motor is provided including: a stator, an armature rotatably received within the stator and having an armature shaft on which a commutator is mounted, and a brush assembly. The brush assembly defines a first surface facing the stator and a second surface opposite the first surface. The brush assembly includes a brush card mount having openings, brushes in sliding contact with the commutator to supply electric current to the commutator, and thermally-conductive brush holders that house the brushes. Each of the brush holders includes a base portion disposed substantially along a same plane as a surface of the brush card mount to form the first surface of the brush assembly, and a main portion protruding from the base portion through a respective opening of the brush card mount to house a respective brush at least partially over the second surface of the brush assembly.
DC motor
A first brush holder is assembled to a core-side connection plate by inserting a slit insertion portion into a slit from an outer circumferential side of the core-side connection plate, and a radial outside position of the first brush holder to the core-side connection plate is regulated by both sides in a circumferential direction of a first slit being inserted into a pair of guiding grooves. A radial outside position of the brush holder is regulated by being fixed to a counter-core-side connection plate by press-fitting a convex portion provided on a counter-core-side of the first brush holder into a second slit of a counter-core-side connection plate. A second brush holder is assembled to the counter-core-side connection plate from an outer circumferential side of the counter-core-side connection plate, and a radial outside position is regulated by the core-side connection plate.
GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a brush and a brush mounting plate, the brush being provided with a plurality of conductive fibers and a support inside which the conductive fibers are housed, the mounting plate being secured to the support and provided with at least one radial portion extending radially outwardly with respect to the support. At least one centering portion extends at least axially from the radial portion and is spaced radially apart from and partially surrounding the support. Further, at least one orifice is formed in the centering portion, the orifice being spaced a distance apart from the proximal end of the centering portion and a distance apart from the distal end of the centering portion.
Generator brush adapters and power systems having generator brush adapters
Example generator brush adapters include a plate configured to mount to a static support structure and to couple to a brush assembly, such that the brush assembly is mounted to the static support structure along a single degree of freedom.
Motor transmission connection arrangement, in particular for use in vehicles
A motor transmission connection arrangement, in particular for use in vehicles, can comprise a motor pot, a brush holder, and a transmission housing. The motor pot, the brush holder and the transmission housing are pluggable to connect with one another, and the motor pot can include a number of centering surfaces, whereby the motor pot with respectively one of the centering surfaces comes into contact both with the brush holder as well as with the transmission housing, when the motor pot, the brush holder and the transmission housing are plugged into one another. The brush holder and the transmission housing can be concentrically oriented to the motor pot. In addition, the present disclosure refers to a sunroof for a vehicle with a motor transmission connection arrangement of this type as well as a vehicle with such a motor transmission connection arrangement.
Brush holder assembly and commutator motor comprising said brush holder assembly
This brush holder assembly includes: a brush holder formed in a disk shape by molding of insulating resin, and including a pair of box fixing sections each including a groove formed from an outer peripheral side toward inside: and brush box assemblies each having a brush box which houses a brush therein, each of the brush box assemblies being disposed in the box fixing section. Each of the brush box assemblies is formed of box-like metal, and has a plurality of mounting legs. Additionally, each of the box fixing sections of the brush holder has a plurality of mounting holes. In this brush holder assembly, these mounting legs are inserted into the respective mounting holes, and the brush box assembly is fixed. Furthermore, in the brush holder assembly of the present invention, the brush holder assemblies face the brush holder through gaps. Additionally, a commutator motor of the present invention includes the above brush holder assembly.
GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush having a support and a plurality of conductive fibers fitted inside the support and a brush fitting plate connected with the support of the brush. The fitting plate includes a plurality of retention tongues retention of the support of the brush, a radial portion and a plurality of lugs which extend from the radial portion and which define the outer diameter of the fitting plate. At least one local deformation is formed on one of the lugs of the fitting plate and extends radially inwardly toward the interior of the grounding brush assembly.
GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush having a support and a plurality of conductive fibers fitted inside the support. A brush fitting plate is connected with the support of the brush and includes a plurality of retention tongues configured to retain the support of the brush, a radial portion, an annular flange extending from the radial portion and spaced radially outwardly from the retention tongues. The fitting plate also includes a plurality of through-openings, which each extend through the radial portion and through the flange, and at least one local deformation formed on the flange of the fitting plate and extending radially inwardly.
Systems and methods for threaded fasteners with grounding brush endpoints
Systems and methods to mitigate electrical voltage on a rotating plate are disclosed. An example grounding pen brush includes two or more bundles of conductive filaments that are separated from the others by a threshold distance.
Grounding Brush Assembly
A grounding brush assembly includes a grounding brush having a support and a plurality of conductive fibers fitted inside of the support. A brush fitting plate is connected with the support of the brush, the fitting plate including a radial portion, which is supported axially against the support, and a plurality of retention tongues for axial retention of the support. The fitting plate also includes an annular axial portion for radial centering of the support of the brush, which extends from the radial portion and is supported radially against the support of the brush. Further, the retention tongues extend from the annular axial centering portion.
