The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a carbon brush holder having internal surfaces which surround a space for bearing a carbon brush, wherein a heat dissipating slot is disposed at an internal corner of the carbon brush holder. The embodiments of the present disclosure further provide an electric motor. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, heat accumulated at the internal corners of the carbon brush holder can be dissipated rapidly because of the heat dissipating slots disposed at the internal corners, such that an excessively high temperature at the internal corners of the carbon brush holder is prevented and a risk of melting the plastics at the internal corners of the carbon brush holder is reduced, thereby increasing the life of the carbon brush holder and the carbon brush.

GROUNDING BRUSH ASSEMBLY

A grounding brush assembly includes a brush and a brush mounting plate, the brush being provided with a plurality of conductive fibers and a support inside which the conductive fibers are housed, the mounting plate being secured to the support and provided with at least one radial portion extending radially outwardly with respect to the support. At least one centering portion extends at least axially from the radial portion and is spaced radially apart from and partially surrounding the support. Further, at least one orifice is formed in the centering portion, the orifice being spaced a distance apart from the proximal end of the centering portion and a distance apart from the distal end of the centering portion.

Discharge device

The invention relates to a discharge device for discharging electrostatic charges from a shaft comprising a flexurally elastic conductor having a carbon fiber arrangement comprising at least two conductor portions (21, 22), which are arranged on a holder, extend transversely to a longitudinal axis of the shaft and are insulated from the holder and which can be connected to a ground conductor (42) via their portion ends (40, 41), which are accommodated in the holder, each of the conductor portions having a shaft contact portion (30, 31), and the shaft contact portions together forming a contact arrangement for making contact with two circumferential contact regions (33, 34) of a shaft circumference (32, 35) arranged opposite each other in a shaft contact plane W, such that the shaft contact portions are arranged tangentially to the shaft circumference when making contact with the shaft circumference.

Discharge device

The invention relates to a discharge device for discharging electrostatic charges from a shaft comprising a flexurally elastic conductor having a carbon fiber arrangement comprising at least two conductor portions (21, 22), which are arranged on a holder, extend transversely to a longitudinal axis of the shaft and are insulated from the holder and which can be connected to a ground conductor (42) via their portion ends (40, 41), which are accommodated in the holder, each of the conductor portions having a shaft contact portion (30, 31), and the shaft contact portions together forming a contact arrangement for making contact with two circumferential contact regions (33, 34) of a shaft circumference (32, 35) arranged opposite each other in a shaft contact plane W, such that the shaft contact portions are arranged tangentially to the shaft circumference when making contact with the shaft circumference.

Brush holder assembly and commutator motor comprising said brush holder assembly

This brush holder assembly includes: a brush holder formed in a disk shape by molding of insulating resin, and including a pair of box fixing sections each including a groove formed from an outer peripheral side toward inside: and brush box assemblies each having a brush box which houses a brush therein, each of the brush box assemblies being disposed in the box fixing section. Each of the brush box assemblies is formed of box-like metal, and has a plurality of mounting legs. Additionally, each of the box fixing sections of the brush holder has a plurality of mounting holes. In this brush holder assembly, these mounting legs are inserted into the respective mounting holes, and the brush box assembly is fixed. Furthermore, in the brush holder assembly of the present invention, the brush holder assemblies face the brush holder through gaps. Additionally, a commutator motor of the present invention includes the above brush holder assembly.
