EDUCATIONAL GAME AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A game and a method for making it, according to certain disclosed embodiments, may include a playfield for allowing a rollable device for moving along its surface. Playfield guides may direct the rollable device along a path of travel. Three or more target goals on the playfield may receive the rollable device as its final destination. Decision making devices mounted movably on the playfield may adjust manually selectively the path of travel, and each have an entrance structure and two or more exit structures. Decision making device guides direct the rollable device from the entrances to selected ones of the exits. Wherein the rollable device moves along a selected path of travel including user selected entrances and user selected exits of a series of decision making devices to a user selected target goal.
CONVEYOR DEVICE
A conveyor device includes a supporter extending from a first end of a rotation axis to a second end thereof in a helical manner relative to the rotation axis, an encircling member that encircles at least a third portion of the supporter, the third portion being a portion between a first portion on the first end and a second portion on the second end, and at least one guide for a three-dimensional game object to move from the first end to the second end along with rotation of the supporter, the at least one guide extending from the first end to the second end within a gap between the supporter and the encircling member and being configured such that the guide in coordination with the supporter and the encircling member supports the three-dimensional game object when the three-dimensional game object moves from the first end to the second end.
User controllable marble run kit
A marble run apparatus kit includes a plurality of physically interconnectable marble run modules, each module configured to retain a marble and guide the travel of the marble through the module. The plurality of marble run modules includes at least a first controllable module. The first controllable module includes a baffle, an actuator, and a wireless receiver. The baffle is disposed in the module, and has a first position and a second position. The baffle is configured to direct the marble within the module in different directions based on whether the baffle is in the first position or the second position. The actuator is supported on the module, and receives a first control signal. The actuator changes the position of the baffle responsive to receiving the first control signal. The wireless receiver provides the first control signal to the actuator upon receiving a first wireless control signal.
MARBLE TRACK PIECE WITH TRIGGERED LIGHT AND/OR SOUND
A triggered marble run module is intended for use with a plurality of physically interconnectable marble run modules. Each module retains a marble and guides the travel of the marble through the module on at least a first surface. The triggered marble run module includes a marble travel path, a marble actuated switch and an output circuit. The marble actuated switch has first and second terminals and is operably coupled to close a circuit between the first terminal and second terminal through the first terminal and the second terminal responsive to actuation by a marble traveling in proximity of the marble actuated switch. The output circuit generates at least one of a group consisting of an audio output, a visual output, and an RF signal output, responsive to formation of the closed circuit between the first terminal and the second terminal through the first and second spring elements.
Automated runway loop for aerial projectile
An automated runway loop including a u-shaped runway, wherein the runway is configured to support an aerial projectile with the runway having a discharging end and a receiving end. The runway has a support attached to the runway and to a motor capable of extending and retracting the runway along an axis. At least one sensor is positioned along the runway and configured to provide at least one output indicative of at least one parameter of the aerial projectile. A computer is connected to the sensors and the motor, the computer controlling energization of the motor based at least in part on an indicated parameter of the aerial projectile, where the energization of the motor causes the aerial projectile to be discharged from one end of the runway and to be received at the other end of the runway.
Track based play systems
Track based play systems are described which comprise a set of physical play pieces and an associated computer game. In an embodiment, a user may arrange some or all of the play pieces in the set to form a path. The computer game is arranged to infer a virtual model of the path defined by the user-created arrangement of the play pieces. The inference may be based on data communicated by one or more the play pieces to the game or based on data from a local sensing device such as a camera which views the relative positions of the play pieces. Having inferred the path, the game constrains a virtual or physical object to the path within the game play and renders a graphical user interface showing at least a portion of the path.
ELECTRONIC TRAINING GAME
A training game has a cylindrical conduit having exterior walls and interior walls forming an aperture therethrough that is adapted and sized to accept at least one aerial projectile therethrough. A means for sensing and measuring aerial projectile movement in electronic communication with at least one of said conduit or said projectile is provided. A central processing unit is provided and adapted to calculate and communicate game information with at least player in electronic communication with the means for sensing and measuring aerial projectile movement.
MODULAR MARBLE TOY KIT
A marble toy kit includes building blocks and base platforms. Each building block includes a block base, formed of a single piece of plastic, that has four sides interconnected to form a tubular member having a square cross-section and having an interior. At least one side has an opening sized to receive a toy marble. The top of each building block has a base portion and a connection boss extending from the base portion. The connection boss and base portion have a second opening sized to receive a toy marble. The boss is configured to engage and fit within the open bottom of another block base having the same structure. At least one base platform includes a plurality of pedestals extending from a top surface. Each pedestal fits within the open-bottom of the block base of a building block to attach the block base to the base platform.
Highly Configurable Game System
Methods and systems for versatile and scalable board games include a double dovetail scalable board, crown, bridge, and door game pieces, tilting mechanisms and game play, rolling sphere game play, and a marble kinetic timer.
