MODULAR ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION PANEL
20240413618 · 2024-12-12 ·

In an operation, the modular electrical power distribution panel (MEPP) is built and assembled with accessories of additional electrical components, instruments, and lighting controls installed in the MEPP. The MEPP can further include bus bars for circuit breakers to attach to as well as electrical rails constructed to allow one or more instruments that will be mounted in the MEPPs to electrically connect to the electrical rails. The MEPP rests on a floor and is supported through its frame from a ground up to be a free standing panel. The MEPP, the bus bars, electrical rails and accessories are modular shippable in five modular pieces or less that meet requirements set by a nationally recognized testing laboratory approval as assembled as a whole unit; and thus, eliminate a need for a second laboratory approval as the whole unit when assembled for a first time at a work site.

Reconfigurable secure antenna module and assembly method

A secure antenna chassis access for an information handling system reconfigurable antenna may comprise a chassis enclosing the information handling system including a top cover, and a rear chassis wall, an antenna mounting insertion slot within the rear chassis wall, a reconfigurable antenna grounding bracket with an internal mounting portion configured to mount internally to the chassis via an internal fastener, a hardwired antenna operably coupled to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) network interface device of the information handling system via an electrically conductive wire to transceive data at or above 6 GHz frequency, the hardwired antenna operably disposed through the antenna mounting insertion slot of the rear chassis wall from the interior of the chassis and coupled to the reconfigurable antenna grounding bracket internally mounted to the chassis, and an antenna security cover enclosing the hardwired antenna and removable by internal access to the chassis.

Enclosed switchboard

An enclosed switchboard includes: a device containing board which contains main circuit devices such as circuit breakers; and a cable connection board which is arranged side by side adjacently to the device containing board, and contains cables that input and output electric power to/from the main circuit devices. In the enclosed switchboard, the cable connection board is configured by one housing; and the inside of the housing is divided into two by a partition plate to be comparted to a cable lead-in compartment which contains lead-in side cables and a cable lead-out compartment which contains lead-out side cables.

Systems and methods for mounting a panel to a wiring cabinet are provided. The wiring cabinet can include a frame profile with a frame profile opening and the panel can have a panel opening. A fastening element used to mount the panel to the wiring cabinet can include an expanding rivet with an opening and at least two rivet legs. The expanding rivet can be received through the panel opening and the frame profile opening when aligned. The fastener can also include an expanding body that can be inserted into the opening of the expanding rivet so that the rivet legs are forced apart to cause the rivet legs to engage the frame profile.

A compartmentalized panelboard that includes a first panel interior having an incoming power and a main breaker mechanism, a second panel interior having a power distribution bus with the main breaker mechanism electrically connected to the power distribution bus of the second panel interior and controlling the feed of power between the panel interiors, a conductive material connecting the main breaker mechanism to the power distribution bus of the second panel interior, at least one door enclosing the panel interiors, a nonconductive physical barrier separating the panel interiors, a sealing device allowing the conductive material to pass from the first panel interior through the nonconductive physical barrier into the second panel interior with the nonconductive physical barrier and the dead front panels physically and electrically isolating the power distribution bus of the second panel interior from the incoming power of the first panel interior when power is cut off by the main breaker mechanism.

Mounting Arrangement and Method for Enclosure Panels

Embodiments of the invention provide a system and a method for mounting a panel within an enclosure. Using one or more sets of mounting blocks, the panel and a frame of the enclosure can be secured together in respective horizontal orientations, then collectively rotated to a vertical orientation. The one or more sets of mounting blocks can include a set of stop blocks, each including a respective tongue, and a set of slide blocks, each defining a respective recess when seated on a frame member of the enclosure frame. Each tongue can be configured to nest within a corresponding recess when the mounting blocks secure the panel to a corresponding frame member.
