Mounting foot for electrical enclosure and electrical enclosure including the same

An electrical enclosure for an electrical device or instrument includes an enclosure body defining an interior that receives the electrical device or instrument, the enclosure body including a back wall. A mounting foot is disposed outside the enclosure body and attached to the back wall. The mounting foot includes a generally planar body defining a mounting fastener opening that receives a fastener to secure the mounting foot to a wall or other support structure. A panel fastener is attached to and extends forward from the mounting foot, through the back wall, and into the interior of the enclosure body. The panel fastener is used to secure an internal panel to the enclosure body within the interior of the enclosure body.

Modularly assembled control panels

Systems, apparatus, methods, and techniques of assembly of discrete modules of a control panel are disclosed. The modules can be independently wired, tested, and installed into a control panel. Module definitions are defined specifying components to perform the electrical function, a mechanical arrangement of the components, electrical connections, and logical interactions of the module. A bill of materials can be generated based on a designation of a set of modules for a control panel and the module definitions. Modularly assembled control panels are disclosed. An assembly frame is described herein for temporarily mounting components of a module for independent assembly of a control module and for eventual removal and installation into a control panel frame. The assembly frame may include a faceplate frame and side frames and temporary mounting features.

A hinged dead front for an enclosure of an electrical panelboard, said enclosure defined by a rear panel, an operative left side panel, an operative right side panel and a door, wherein the rear panel of said enclosure is provided with hinged mounting bracket assemblies on which said dead front is hingeably mounted; and latch stopping bracket assemblies configured to engage with locking elements fitted on said dead front.

ENCLOSURE FOR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

An enclosure for electrical components for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system is provided. The enclosure includes an electrical box including a back wall and a wall extending from the back wall to an open front. The enclosure further includes a removable cover including a fifth wall and a lip extending from the fifth wall, wherein the removable cover is configured to be attached to the electrical box to cover the open front and to enclose electrical components within the electrical box by engaging a slot within the wall and the lip extends over a portion of the wall.

Vertical cable manager with slam-shut door

A vertical cable manager includes a base frame and a door. The base frame has upper and lower support legs and upper and lower crossbars between the support legs. The door has retractable hinge pins at corners of the door. The crossbars have hinge rod receptacles to receive respective hinge pins and elastic latch members having a flexible arm and a catch portion. The catch portions secure the hinge pins in the hinge rod receptacles with the door closed and are deflectable through elastic deformation of the flexible arm to allow travel of the hinge pins through the hinge rod receptacles and past the catch portions when the door is moved from an open to a closed position.

HINGE FOR ENCLOSURE FOR ELECTRICAL NETWORK PROTECTION ELEMENT

The disclosure generally relates to an exemplary hinge of an enclosure that can house an electrical network protection element and provide protection to the electrical network protection element against damage in various environments such as when the enclosure is placed in an underground vault that may be flooded during rain, or when a liquid (e.g., oil) comes into contact with the enclosure. The hinge may include two portions, one portion attached to one or more doors of the enclosure and one portion attached to a housing of the enclosure. The hinge may be configured such that it may be adjusted in multiple directions (for example, beyond one plane of rotation that typical hinges may offer), and thus allow for greater adjustability of the one or more doors of the enclosure relative to the housing of the enclosure.
