Branch box
A branch box (100) includes: a branch portion (21) branching a power path (205A) into at least two branch paths (206A, 207A); a fuse (60) located on at least one of the branch paths; a conductive member (33) connecting the branch portion and the branch path having the fuse; a first housing portion (11) receiving the fuse and closing its opening with a lid portion (81) to define a housing space; and a second housing portion (12) receiving the branch portion. The first housing portion is sealed with a first sealing material (85) filling a gap between the lid portion and the opening and is out of contact with the fuse. The second housing portion is sealed with a second sealing material (86) independent from the first sealing material. The conductive member passes through a partition wall (25) separating the first housing portion and the second housing portion.
Modular wall-mounted electrical control device
A family of wall-mounted electrical fixtures, both for lighting control and electrical power or signal delivery, having a modular design. Said modular design predominately isolating those components that are directly connected to in-wall wiring within a wall-mounted base and low-voltage control and communication components, such as sensors, user-interface elements, programmable logic and wireless communication modules, within an aesthetically-appealing, easily-detachable faceplate assembly.

BRACKET FOR MOUNTING AN ELECTRICAL BOX TO THE OPEN FACE OF A METAL STUD
A Z-bracket is adapted for mounting an electrical box to the open face of a metal stud. The invention has two mounting platforms with self-tapping screw holes. The flat brackets of an electrical box are secured to these mounting platforms. The invention has a retaining tab with at least one retaining indentation for screwing the retaining tab to the open face of a metal stud. A connector connects the retaining tab to the mounting platforms. The front edge of each mounting platform has a groove, which accommodates the tongue on a tab of the metal stud. Multiple triangular braces connect the mounting platforms to the connector for structural support. The invention is sized to fit a standard metal stud, providing an improved method for attaching electrical boxes to the open face of a metal stud.

JUNCTION BOX ASSEMBLY HAVING A SWITCH ASSEMBLY
A switch assembly is configured to be mounted to a lower cover of the junction box assembly. The switch assembly includes a holder, the holder is configured to removably coupled to the lower cover. The holder includes a pocket. The switch assembly further includes a switch. The hook is configured to engage the lower cover and is dimensioned to be seated within the pocket of the holder. The switch includes a hook. The hook is configured to pull the switch towards the lower cover so as to pinch the holder between the lower cover and the switch. Accordingly, the hook presses the switch against a bottom surface of the lower cover so as to eliminate a rattle when the switch is held in suspension beneath the lower cover of the junction box assembly.

ELECTRIC POWER CONVERTER
Provided is an electric power converter that includes an inverter which includes plural electric parts, a smoothing capacitor configured to smooth electric power, a housing configured to house the inverter and the smoothing capacitor and a first conductor portion configured to connect the smoothing capacitor and the inverter. The housing includes a base portion made of a resin material and a cover portion attached to the base portion to cover the inverter and the smoothing capacitor. The inverter and the smoothing capacitor are mounted on the base portion. The first conductor portion is placed in the vicinity of or in contact with the base portion of the housing in the middle of connection between the smoothing capacitor and the inverter.
Method for sealed fuse holder with ISO micro relay
A novel electrical box to house one or more ISO micro relays, is adapted to support IP67 and IP69K Ingress Protection ratings. The housing of the electrical box is molded with blade sockets that correspond to blade positions of the ISO micro relay. The housing is also molded with terminal seats and cylindrical openings which vary, depending on the blade socket, enabling terminals of different sizes, orientations, and positions relative to the respective blades, to be easily inserted into the back of the housing. The resulting position of the terminals ensures that electrical connections to the ISO micro relay are made and ingress protection of components inside the electrical box is ensured.
