Wire puller
A wire puller may be provided. The wire puller may comprise a middle portion, a restraint frame, and a front portion. The middle portion may comprise a gear box, a front bracket, a back bracket, and a capstan. The gear box may comprise a drive shaft and the capstan may comprise a hook pin. The restraint frame may be attached to the back bracket. The front portion may be attached to the front bracket. The front portion may comprise a pivot frame, a tube, an arm, a first side plate, a second side plate, a roller, and a flip out support. The pivot frame may comprise a locking mechanism.
WIRELESS CONTROL IN A CABLE FEEDER AND PULLER SYSTEM
A control module for controlling a cable pulling or feeding apparatus at one endpoint of a pulling operation and for wirelessly communicating with a cable feeding or pulling apparatus at an opposite endpoint. The control module includes a switch input to receive a start signal from a switch for initiating operation of the apparatus and an equipment output that connects to the pulling/feeding apparatus. A wireless communication interface communicates ready state or stop state messages to the other apparatus to coordinate a pulling operation. The control module operates in one of two modes: endpoint mode or repeater mode. In repeater mode, the control module may be positioned between the endpoints to extend the wireless communications between the endpoints.
Reel and Tip for Fish Tape
Described herein is a fish tape reel comprising a housing with two side shells coupled together. The housing defines an internal cavity. An internal portion of the housing defines a plurality of flat gripping portions and a plurality of finger notches. The housing comprises a plurality of tabs in the internal cavity, the tabs interfacing against an inner annular portion that is coupled to the handle when the handle rotates around the housing.
Cable securing device
A cable securing device facilitates secure connection to a cabling end, and employs a retaining cap, a compression member, a barrel with a tapered interior wall and a fastening device.
Cable pulling apparatus for cable tray
A device for pulling a cable down the length of a cable tray including a trolley with rollers which rollingly grasp the upper side portion of the cable tray and allow the trolley to roll along the tray. The trolley includes a swivel cord grip which is releasably attached to one end of the cable, thus allowing the cable puller to pull the cable along the cable tray as the cable puller is propelled along the cable tray. The trolley can be pulled along manually by using one of two pull lines or ‘jet lines’ which are attached to the cable puller and lead to each end of the cable tray, or, more preferably, the trolley can be propelled up or down the cable tray by a remotely controlled motor which drives one or more of the rollers.
Microduct pulling cap device
A system and method for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of installing and pulling microducts through subterranean pathways is provided. The system includes a device that is placed over at least one microduct and secured through tapered screws that enter through the end cap of the body of the device and into at least one microduct. The tapered screw both expands the microduct, pressing it against the inner wall of the body and guide rod, as well as securing the microduct to the cap end of the body. Securing the microducts against seal provides further protection from water, debris, and other contaminants, and the expansion of the microducts provides friction and adherence to the body, aiding in keeping microducts in place. The device further includes a pulling apparatus connected to the device body, allowing it to be connected to a pulling mechanism for installation of the microducts.
Thixotropic non-cementitious thermal grout and HDD or trough product line methods of application
The disclosure relates to embodiments of a thixotropic, non-cementitious, thermal grout and applications or methods of use of the grout related to horizontal directional drilling, trenchless technology, trenching, and installation of pipe, conduits, ducts, utility lines, and other product lines which may, e.g., be in trenches, underground, or under obstacles, such as a body of water or roadways.
Hydraulic Displacement Mechanism and Method of Use
Hydraulic displacement mechanisms, and methods of using hydraulic displacement mechanisms to remove cables jammed or stuck in a conduit or other passageways, are disclosed.
POWER TRANSMISSION UNDERGROUND CABLE WINDING DEVICE AND POWER TRANSMISSION UNDERGROUND CABLE SPREADING SYSTEM COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a power transmission underground cable winding device and a power transmission underground cable spreading system comprising same and, more specifically, to: a power transmission underground cable winding device for installing a power transmission three-phase underground cable in an underground power tunnel or conduit; and a power transmission underground cable spreading system comprising same.
CABLE SECURING DEVICE
A cable securing device facilitates secure connection to a cabling end, and employs a retaining cap, a barrel and a cable receiving component.
