REPAIRING TOOL FOR ELECTRIC WIRE THREADING HEAD
20220161340 · 2022-05-26 ·

A repairing tool for an electric wire threading head for pressing and squeezing a drawing-in wire of the electric wire includes a first holding part, a second holding part opposite to the first holding part, and two positioning bolts for fastening the first holding part and the second holding part. A first half screw hole and a second half screw hole are protrudingly formed on the first holding part and the second holding part to form a complete screw hole. The drawing-in wire is pressed and squeezed through the positive rotation or reverse rotation of the repairing tool to form an external screw thread part and increase a screw thread area, and the surface of the external screw thread part is applied with instant dry adhesive and rotated into a pulling head, so that the drawing-in wire is closely adhered to the pulling head and tensile strength is improved.

Multifiber invisible optical drop cable and methods for routing optical fibers within a multi-dwelling unit

The present disclosure relates to a process by which an optical fiber drop cable is created and routed in a multiple dwelling unit (“MDU”). The optical fiber drop cable is formed with a feeding tool, and the optical fiber drop cable includes a tube having optical fibers enclosed within the tube. The feeding tool creates a slit within the tube through which optical fibers are fed and thereby inserted into the tube along the tube's length. Once the tube exits the feeding tool with the optical fibers enclosed (thereby forming the optical fiber drop cable), the optical fiber drop cable is then routed into an individual dwelling unit of the MDU by a transition assembly including a transition plug and a routing plug that leads an optical fiber from an exterior of the individual dwelling unit to a subscriber termination point in an interior of the individual dwelling unit.

Cable positioning assembly and pulling system

A cable pulling system and associated method are shown. Examples include positioning joints that allows a pulling boom to move up or down and side to side, while maintaining alignment of a pulling cable between pulleys. Example methods include positioning a pulling boom within a conduit box and pulling an electrical cable through a conduit into the conduit box.

Telescoping Cable Pulling Device
20220131349 · 2022-04-28 ·

The present invention relates to a telescopic cable and wire-pulling device. The device allows an user to easily pull and install cables in high places, such as a ceiling, without risk of injuries. The cable-pulling device comprises an elongated telescopic pole having a plurality of telescoping segments for adjusting the length of the pole. Each telescoping segment is six feet in length, and can be extended or retracted using slip locks or any other similar telescoping locking mechanism. The device further has a hook on the distal end and a mechanical trigger on the proximal end. The mechanical trigger is depressed to actuate and control the hook for gripping a wire or a cable for pulling down and/or installing the wire or cable at a desired place.

COMPRESSIBLE CONDULET DEVICES, ASSEMBLIES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRICAL RACEWAY FABRICATION

A condulet assembly for fabricating a rigid or intermediate metal conduit raceway of an electrical system is provided. The condulet assembly includes a gasket and a condulet including a condulet body and a mouth with an interior ridge positioned circumferentially along an interior of the mouth wall. The interior ridge includes a plurality of projections configured to form a plurality of indentations circumferentially around an exterior of the metal conduit and engage the metal conduit at the indentations when the mouth is compressed with the metal conduit received therein. The gasket is sized to circumscribe the conduit and includes a ring body and a first lip, wherein the ring body and the first lip deform and seal a gap between the interior of the mouth wall and the exterior of the metal conduit when the mouth is compressed with the metal conduit received therein.

Fish Stick Assembly

A fish stick includes a light emitting component, such as a lighted tip, near the leading end of the fish stick. The lighted tip includes a curved lens that directs some light around an attachment piece at the end of the fish stick and generally in the forward direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fish stick. The fish stick may be made of a phosphorescent material and stored in a lit container with an LED and reflective surfaces. The fish stick may be made of multiple rods that are threadably engaged with each other and include a spring biasing element that increases the coefficient of friction between the threads of the rods. The fish stick may also be made of multiple rods that are threadably engaged with each other via collars.

LINE PULLING SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
20220029392 · 2022-01-27 ·

The disclosed technology includes a line pulling system having a chassis configured to support a line pulling drum. The line pulling drum can receive a line and a motor can be configured to rotate the line pulling drum in a first direction to cause the line to wind around the line pulling drum and in a second direction to facilitate removal of the line from the line pulling drum. The line pulling system can include a driven element, a driving element, and a coupling ring that can be configured to transition between an engaged position and a disengaged position. When in the engaged position, the coupling ring can couple the driving element to the driven element to cause a torque applied by the motor to be transferred to the line pulling drum. When in the disengaged position, the coupling ring can uncouple the driving element from the driven element.

Optical fibre deployment

A deployable device including a deployable member. The deployable member includes an optical fibre. The deployable member is stowed at the device in a first wound configuration and arranged to be deployed from the device to a second unwound configuration within a well. In examples, the deployable device is configured such that, when unwound, the deployable member has a propensity to adhere to a wall within the well. In examples, the deployable member includes at least a first length and second length, the first and second lengths having different mechanical properties.
