An automatic-robotic-system-for-cable assembly system and method is provided. The method and system are configured to use a cartridge which holds one or both ends of the cable. The cartridge moves along an automatic cable assembly line, with the line segmented into different stages, at which a process is performed by a specific machine. Different machines, such as actuators or modular machines, perform operations on the cartridge at the different stages. In preparation for or as part of the operations, the actuators or modular machines may directly physically apply one or more forces to a cable held by the cartridge, causing the cable to spool toward or away from the modular machines.

The separation member 30 includes hooking portions 31b and 32b that do not hook the drain wire 2 but hooks the plurality of core wires 3 while the separation member 30 is moved in the moving direction B1.

Peeling device and method

A peeling device (12) includes a first peeling unit (21) and a second peeling unit (22). When an upper peeling die (33) and a lower peeling die (34) of the first peeling unit (21) are moved forward, an insulating coating (8) is peeled off from upper and lower surface of a coil conductor wire (2), and a conductive portion (7) is cut from the upper surface and the lower surface of the coil conductor wire (2). The conductive portion (7) is formed to have exposed portions (7a) and recessed portions (7b) cut in a trapezoidal shape. A front peeling die (42) and a rear peeling die (43) of the second peeling unit (22) are moved downward while the recessed portion (7b) is placed on and pressed against a second receiving section (41b) of a cradle (41), which peels off the insulating coating (8) and cuts the conductive portion (7).

A method for electrical wiring of electronic components in switchgear construction, the method comprising the steps: a. providing a plurality of electronic components which are mounted on a shared workpiece, in particular on a mounting plate; b. wiring the electronic components according to a predetermined circuit diagram and in a predetermined order by at least one robot, wherein a cable sequence of pre-assembled cables is fed to the at least one robot and the cables are arranged in the predetermined order in the cable sequence; wherein the wiring comprises gripping a free cable end of the cable sequence by a multifunctional end effector of the robot, feeding the free cable end to an electrical connection of one of the electronic components by the multifunctional end effector, and detaching the cable from the cable sequence by a separation unit of the multifunctional end effector. The method may further comprise laying a cable of the cable sequence in a cable duct, contacting a cable of the cable sequence at a conductor connection clamp and/or mechanically and/or electrically testing a contacting made. Moreover, a corresponding arrangement is described.

An electric wire twisting device is provided, which is capable of producing a preferable twisted electric wire from a plurality of electric wires of which both ends are cut. An electric wire twisting device 1 includes a first gripping device 11 including a first clamp 2a that grips a first end of a first electric wire CT, a second clamp 2b that grips a first end of a second electric wire C2, and a first holder 15A that holds the first clamp 2a and the second clamp 2b. The electric wire twisting device 1 includes a second gripping device 12 that grips a second end of the first electric wire CT and a second end of the second electric wire CT, a first revolving actuator 3b that causes the first holder 15A to rotate around a center line of revolution CL, and a first rotating actuator 3a that causes the first clamp 2a and the second clamp 2b to rotate around a center line of rotation that is parallel to the center line of revolution CL or is inclined with respect to the center line of revolution CL.

Machining apparatus

A machining apparatus includes a movement direction converting mechanism that converts lowering movement of a first punch into raising movement of a second punch and converts lowering movement of the second punch into raising movement of the first punch. The first punch and the second punch are raised and lowered in an alternating manner by this movement direction converting mechanism. Accordingly, machining by the first punch and machining by the second punch are performed individually.

Each holder has two fixing elements spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction for holding the cable element. For machining by the processing head, a respective holder with a respective cable element is lifted in a preferred configuration from the magazine plane into the working plane.
