A multicolored aglet connected to a shoelace has a unit slice, a pattern layer, and a white background layer. The unit slice is formed into two aglet bodies that are respectively sheathed on two ends of the shoelace, and has a mounting portion. The mounting portion of the unit slice is stuck to an outer side of the unit slice. The pattern layer is printed on and covers the inner side of the unit slice excluding the mounting portion, and is located between the unit slice and the shoelace. The white background layer is printed on the pattern layer and is located between the pattern layer and the shoelace. A method for producing the multicolored aglet is also provided.

An ornament clamp apparatus attachable/removable to/from a lace including an ornament body and a clamping assembly for cooperating therewith for attaching the ornament body to the lace; the clamping assembly including a male connector and a female connector, the male connector having curved arms extending downwards from the ornament body, and the female connector possessing a U-shape structure which fits onto the male connector.

A closure system for a shoe includes a single shoelace which can be secured and tightened through the use of one hand. The shoe includes a button around which the shoelace is wrapped to facilitate easy removal of the shoe. In one embodiment one end of the shoelace is secured under the upper of the shoe near the toe and a second end of the shoelace is secured in a slider that is slidably mounted on the rear of the shoe to provide micro-adjustments of the tightness of the shoe. Alternatively, the shoe includes a strip of piping around the rear of the shoe and a slider in which the second end of the shoelace is secured slides along the piping when the user wants to make micro-adjustments. The adjustment of the tightness of the shoe can also be made by sliding a barrel that is located over the top of the tongue.

A footwear article having a cartridge enclosing a fluid, the cartridge including a cartridge inlet and a cartridge outlet, and a fluid circulation system for circulating the fluid into the cartridge inlet and out of the cartridge outlet. The fluid circulation system may include a pump having a pump inlet in fluid communication with the cartridge outlet and a pump outlet in fluid communication with the cartridge inlet. Preferably, the cartridge further encloses particulate matter suspendable in the fluid. The pump may be a bellows pump. The cartridge is preferably interchangeable and can be attached and detached from the footwear article.

A shoe fastening device and/or technique used to fasten a shoe is disclosed herein. A shoelace can be laced into a shoe in any number of lacing patterns. The two ends of the shoelace may be secured to the shoe. An overhand knot may be present when the shoelace is in a loosened configuration.

An ornamental structure that is constructed and arranged to be coupled to an end of a cord includes a body with a through-hole and a cord-end receiving cavity that has a width about equal to a diameter of the cord, where the through hole and cavity are proximate one another.

A system for customizing an article. The system includes a base and at least one attachment having a decorative element and flanges flanking the decorative element and forming an opening on each side of the decorative element. The base has a plurality of projecting elements projecting from a surface of the base and having a protrusion at an end thereof or a plurality of pincers defining an inlet and a cavity. Each of the protrusions or pincers can be deformed to fit through the openings on each side of one of the decorative elements after which the protrusions or pincers will return to a non-deformed shape and secure the attachment with decorative element in the article.
