Cable guides for use with cable trays
11258240 · 2022-02-22 · ·

A cable guide is dimensioned to fit as an insert inside a cable tray. It has a bottom, two sides and a top. The top is made of interleaving, resilient flanges that are spaced apart to define a serpentine path that is wide enough to enable the user to fit a cable into the interior of the cable guide and to remove the cable through the interleaved flanges without disturbing the positional integrity of other cables in the cable tray. The cable guide may be fastened to the cable tray using one or two bolts and may be fastened so that it is spaced apart from the wall of the cable tray. Two cable guides may be installed side-by-side and several can be installed at spaced intervals along a cable tray and throughout a system.

The invention relates to a guide device, in particular for a cable chain, comprising laterally opposite guiding walls for guiding the top part and/or the bottom part of the cable carrier, which are formed from wall elements interconnected from the area of the front-sided end. Said wall elements are made from a single piece of plastic, and they comprise, in the area of the front-sided ends, first securing means made of one piece which enable said elements to be fixed in a positive and/or non-positive fit to a directly adjacent wall element such that a separation therefrom and pivoting counter to is prevented in any direction.

Wire exterior body and exterior-covered wire harness

A wire exterior body and an exterior-covered wire harness, capable of preventing damage to thereby suppress deterioration in the protective function for electric wires, are provided. A wire exterior body (3) formed of a resin sheet, to be mounted on the outer periphery of the wire harness (2), includes bending portions (20a) to (20d) at which the resin sheet is bent, and a plurality of wall parts (4) formed of the resin sheet bent at the bending portions (20a) to (20d). The wall parts (4) extend along the extending direction of the electric wires and form an accommodating part (5) that accommodates the electric wires. Grooves (21a) to (21d) are formed in the bending portions (20a) to (20d) at positions separated by predetermined spaces (S1) and (S2) from end portions (4a) and (4b), in the extending direction of the electric wires, of the wall parts (4).
