CONNECTION INTERFACE

A connection interface includes a base bracket and a cable connection carrier (e.g., module, panel, etc.). The cable connection carrier has a front wall to which one or more cable connection components (e.g., optical components, electrical components, and/or hybrid components) are mounted. The cable connection carrier may angle the cable connection components relative to an open front of the base bracket. Some cable connection carriers may be snap-fit to the base bracket for easy installation. Other cable connection carriers are movable (e.g., pivotal) relative to the base bracket.

An example threaded cable connector for a cable with a conductor and a surrounding shielding braid, comprising a base element, a first tightening nut and a first clamping element is presented herein. The base element includes a base for fastening the base element to a housing and a passage opening for the passage of the cable about which an encircling first thread is oriented. On a side facing away from the housing, the base element has a contact surface encircling the passage opening. The first tightening nut comprises a second thread for operatively connecting the first tightening nut to the first thread of the base element. The first clamping element has a first clamping surface and, in the mounted state, is arranged between the contact surface and the first tightening nut. The first clamping element, in the mounted state, presses the shielding braid against the contact surface.

Adjustably positionable cable dropout for cable tray
09793693 · 2017-10-17 ·

A cable dropout for a cable tray: The cable tray has side rails. Rungs at spaced intervals along the side rails define the width of the tray with the side rails. The tray side rails have laterally outward extensions at the bottom regions of the side rails for mounting a cable path re-directing dropout to the tray. The dropout has a convexly curved surface for redirecting and supporting a cable from its path on the tray to below the tray. A mounting bar at the entrance region of the dropout from the tray has laterally outward extensions clamped to the bottom region outward extensions at the bottom region of the side rails, so that the mounting bar may be clamped at any location along the side rails.

WIRE CLEARANCE APPARATUS AND METHOD

A wire clearance apparatus is provided. The wire clearance apparatus includes a body. The body includes a clamp operable to releasably attach the body to a flange or rim of a panel housing. A pivoting member extends laterally from the body. The pivoting member includes a pivoting arm including a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the pivoting arm is connected to the body. The pivoting arm is operable to pivot about a longitudinal axis of the body. The distal end of the pivoting arm includes a hook.

Cable management device and cable management frame

A cable management frame includes a main body, a bracket installed on the main body, a hook installed on the main body, and a pressing member located on an end of the main body. The hook and the bracket are located respectively on two sides of the main body. The hook includes a reinforcing rib coupled to the main body.

Cable guides for use with cable trays
11258240 · 2022-02-22 · ·

A cable guide is dimensioned to fit as an insert inside a cable tray. It has a bottom, two sides and a top. The top is made of interleaving, resilient flanges that are spaced apart to define a serpentine path that is wide enough to enable the user to fit a cable into the interior of the cable guide and to remove the cable through the interleaved flanges without disturbing the positional integrity of other cables in the cable tray. The cable guide may be fastened to the cable tray using one or two bolts and may be fastened so that it is spaced apart from the wall of the cable tray. Two cable guides may be installed side-by-side and several can be installed at spaced intervals along a cable tray and throughout a system.

Power and/or data connectivity track system

A track section for a track system is provided that includes an enclosed channel and first and second lateral members. The enclosed channel is defined by a base wall, a cover wall, and first and second lateral side walls, and has an interior cavity. The first and second lateral side walls are disposed on opposite sides of the enclosed channel. The base wall and the cover wall are spaced apart from one another and extend between the first and second lateral side walls. The first lateral member extends outward from the first lateral side wall and the second lateral member extends outward from the second lateral side wall. Each has a ramp flange channel. The track section is a unitary structure with the first and second lateral members being integral with the enclosed channel and has a length between first and second lengthwise ends.

HIGH VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT BOX FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

A high voltage equipment box for a rail vehicle includes a box body and electric equipment arranged in the box body, two ends of the box body in a width direction of the vehicle extend to respective skirt plates, and an avoidance gap is provided at a bottom of each of the two ends of the box body, a bottom of each of the skirt plates is fixed at the respective avoidance gap, a top of the box body extends to a position above a bottom beam of a vehicle body, and a bottom of the box body is flush with a bottom plate of the vehicle body and forms a part of the bottom plate of the vehicle body.

ADJUSTABLE CABLE MANAGEMENT FOR FIBER AND CABLE

In one embodiment, an adjustable cable management system is disclosed. The system includes a tray base having a first end. The system also includes a tray door coupled to the tray base and substantially opposite the first end of the tray base when in a closed position. The system further includes a plurality of cable guides coupled to the first end of the tray base and located between the first end of the tray base and the tray door. A particular cable guide is coupled to the first end of the tray base at a selected angle from among a plurality of selectable angles.

CABLE LADDER

A cable ladder formed by two side rails and crosspieces, all formed of extruded polymer material. The side rails have a channel receiving a corresponding end of the crosspieces. The channel has a lower rib and an upper rib. A projection of the lower rib or upper rib has openings along a longitudinal direction of the side rail. The ends of the crosspieces go through the opening of the projection and have a recess in which a corresponding portion of the channel is snap-fitted. The lower rib of the side rails is bent over itself along a bending line, such that a final section of the lower rib experiences downward expansion by elastic bending when the end of the crosspiece is introduced.
