An integrally molded member includes, in an integrated manner, a water-sealing portion that seals the end portion of the sheath from water, and a bracket attachment portion that is attached to the bracket.

COVER ASSEMBLIES FOR CABLES AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
20170317481 · 2017-11-02 ·

An integral, unitary cover assembly for covering an electrical connection between first and second electrical cables each having a primary conductor and a neutral conductor, includes an elastomeric inner sleeve, an elastomeric outer sleeve surrounding the inner sleeve, and a collapsible duct assembly interposed radially between the inner and outer sleeves. The inner sleeve defines a cable passage to receive the electrical connection and the primary conductors of the first and second cables. The duct assembly includes an outer duct sleeve member defining a first passage and an inner retention member disposed in the first passage. The retention member defines a second passage configured to receive at least one of the neutral conductors therethrough. The duct sleeve member is flexible. The retention member maintains the duct sleeve member in an open configuration when the retention member is disposed in the first passage. The duct sleeve member is selectively collapsible about the at least one neutral conductor from the open configuration to a collapsed configuration by withdrawing the retention member from the first passage.

Wire harness

A conductive path (1) used in a wire harness includes a conductor (2) and an insulator (3). The conductive path (1) includes parts corresponding to route restriction sections (A, B) where route restriction is required, and parts corresponding to sections other than the route restriction sections (A, B), that is, different sections (C, D, E). The insulator (3) includes an extrusion-molded insulator main body (4) and multiple thick parts (6) post-attached to an outer surface (5) of the insulator main body (4). The thick parts (6) are disposed and formed at positions corresponding to the route restriction sections (A, B).

CABLE ROUTING STRUCTURE

A cable routing structure includes a plurality of cables that are superposed on one another and that are movable relatively to one another in length directions thereof, and a line length difference housing case that contains parts of the plurality of cables and is movable in a reciprocating direction. The line length difference housing case absorbs differences in line length among the plurality of cables generated in accordance with a moving position of the line length difference housing case.

Fitting connections for corrosion resistant electrical conduits

A push-lock coupler includes an annular metal insert with a coaxial profile complementary to a conduit; a cylindrical polymeric housing molded over the annular metal insert and having a first and second end and an inner surface; and wherein the first and second end are capable of deforming to the coaxial profile of the conduit inserted into either the first or second end, and the inner surface of the cylindrical polymeric housing has at least one groove disposed between the annular metal insert and the first end.

WIRE HARNESS

A wire harness, including: an electrical wire; an exterior tube; and a flexible cover that includes: an exterior tube fixing portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of one end of the exterior tube and is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the one end of the exterior tube, an electrical wire fixing portion that covers an outer peripheral surface of the electrical wire led out from the one end of the exterior tube and is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the electrical wire, and a connection portion, which is formed by an elastic member of a constant thickness being folded over, that is folded over from the exterior tube fixing portion so as to cover the one end of the exterior tube and extends into the exterior tube, and is furthermore folded over and connected to the electrical wire fixing portion.

WIRE HARNESS WITH FIXING MEMBER

A conductive path is provided that enables easily connecting stranded electrical lines to a plurality of single-core electrical lines collectively inserted into a pipe. The conductive path includes a plurality of single-core electrical lines, each being made up of one single-core conductor enveloped in an insulating sheathing, and a shield pipe into which the single-core electrical lines are collectively inserted. An end portion of each of the single-core conductors is a junction portion to which a stranded electrical line is to be connected, the stranded electrical line including a stranded conductor made up of a plurality of twisted individual wires, and an insulating sheathing that envelops the stranded conductor. The junction portions of the single-core electrical lines are arranged in the longitudinal direction with respect to each other outside of the shield pipe.

WIRE HARNESS AND OUTER COVER MEMBER

A wire harness including: a wire; and an outer cover into which the wire is inserted; wherein the outer cover is provided with a spring that is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the wire. An outer cover into which a wire is to be inserted, the outer cover including a spring configured to come into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the wire.

ELECTRICAL WIRE COVER
20170229850 · 2017-08-10 ·

An electrical wire cover that aims to ease assembly by addressing an electrical wire getting caught between two half covers. The electrical wire cover is a member that has a tube shape when a first half cover that has a half tube shape and a second half cover that has a half tube shape are assembled, and is configured to house an electrical wire.
