POLE BASE CABINET
This disclosure relates to pole bases, specifically to light pole base cabinets that can house items. The pole base cabinets can be positioned between a light pole and a footing. The pole base cabinets provide a base to a light pole while adding additional functionality. The cabinets can include a main opening allowing access to a cavity in which items can be stored. Access to the cavity can be restricted with a door that uncovers and covers the main opening. The pole base cabinets can include support panels, internal stiffening panels, external stiffening panels, support tabs, flanges, tabs, a peripheral wall, and other features to provide structural support and enclose the contents in the pole base cabinet.
POLE STRUCTURE SUITABLE FOR PROVIDING A SMART POLE
“A pole module for attachment to one or more adjacent pole modules to provide a pole assembly comprising two or more pole modules is disclosed here. The pole module comprises an elongated body that defines a cavity extending from a first end of the pole module to a second end of the pole module. The pole module further comprises a first installation interface for attaching the first end of the pole module to a second end of a first adjacent pole module and a second installation interface for attaching the second end of the pole module to a first end of a second adjacent pole module. The pole module further comprises a first connection interface and a second connection interface. A cabling arrangement is arranged in the cavity. The cabling arrangement comprises a plurality of cables connecting the first connection interface to the second connection interface.”
Environmentally sealed enclosure attachable onto pole before or after field installation
A pole attachable enclosure is installable, replaceable, and accessible from ground level on poles installed in various deployments for camera, lights, and antennas. The pole attachable enclosure provides a secure, tamper resistant enclosure for electronic and support equipment in both new and retrofit installations to improve serviceability and protect investment.
Charging station
A charging station can automatically and intelligently connect to and charge an electric vehicle's battery or otherwise provide power to a component of a vehicle. A charging station can be configured to detect the position of an onboard unit on a vehicle and automatically maneuver a receiver underneath the onboard unit. The charging station can then cause the onboard unit to extend and plug into the receiver. The charging station can then deliver power via the receiver and onboard unit.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR HOLDING CABLES
The present disclosure describes devices and assemblies for holding cables. A device adapted for holding one or more discrete cables may include a flexible main body formed of a polymeric material having a length, a width, a thickness, and a longitudinal axis, the main body including a wrapping portion and a mounting portion, wherein the wrapping portion is configured to be wrapped such that the main body circumscribes the one or more discrete cables; a securing feature attached to or integral with the mounting portion of the main body and configured to be secured to a mounting structure; and a plurality of apertures along the longitudinal axis of the wrapping portion of the main body, wherein the securing feature is configured to be received through one of the plurality of apertures when the main body is wrapped around the one or more discrete cables. Methods of holding cables are also provided.
Automatic electric vehicle charging device
A charging device autonomously charges an electric vehicle. The charging device includes: a main body and an arm coupled to the main body. The main body is controllably moveable, and the arm is controllably extendable and retractable in a longitudinal direction. A charging plug is included at a distal end of the arm. The charging plug is controllably moveable and insertable into a charging portal of the electric vehicle. The arm comprises: a rigid chain, the rigid chain being compliant in a first direction from a neutral axis and resistant in an opposite second direction past the neutral axis, or at least one scissor arm.
Modular low profile raceway to provide power and/or data connectivity
In various implementations, a raceway may be provided that is capable of providing power and/or data connectivity to items (e.g., devices, articles of furniture, etc.) coupled to the raceway. The raceway may be low profile. The raceway may be disposed on floor and/or under floor. The raceway may include an integrated power housing. The raceway may include segments that are selected, as desired for an application configuration, and that are coupleable to each other or other components of the raceway (e.g., nodes, joints, etc.). The housing of component(s) of the raceway may include a base and wall(s) with at least curved section and at least one straight section.
Electrical system for dockside power pedestals
A receptacle assembly includes one or more receptacle housing members, each having an inner portion which extends outwardly beyond the housing member defining an asymmetrical opening therebetween to secure a male connector. The inner portion includes openings to secure electrical prong members from the male connector. Electrical connectors extend from the inner portion to electrical power lines from a dockside power pedestal or post. A mounting assembly portion of the retrofit receptacle assembly secures the receptacle to the dockside power pedestal or post.
Charging station and method of installing a charging station
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a charging station for electric vehicles with a ground foundation and a column arranged above the ground foundation and accommodating charging electronics. The ground foundation and the column are formed in one piece. The column includes an opening which runs transversely to the longitudinal axis of the column and extends into the interior of the column. The opening is arranged for accommodating a charging electronics, in particular the opening is arranged as receptacle for the charging electronics and comprises locking means for the charging electronics.
PASSIVELY COOLED HIGH POWER ELECTRIC CABLE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A charging cable apparatus having a connector, an electrically-conductive cable extending from the connector, the cable configured to be connectable to a charging station for receiving a charging current from the charging station, and having a heat pipe with a phase change section having a wicking structure, the wicking structure having a working fluid therein during operation for receiving heat generated during current flow within the cable. The charging cable apparatus may further have an external condensing surface in fluid communication with the phase change section of the heat pipe for accelerating condensation of evaporated working fluid. The charging cable apparatus may be connected to a charging station for charging an electric battery such as a battery of an electric vehicle.
