Wire harness with protector
A wire harness including: a wire; a cover that covers an outer circumference of a portion of the wire in a length direction thereof; an electromagnetic wave absorber mounted on an outer circumference of the cover; and a fixing member that fixes one end of the cover in a length direction thereof to the wire, wherein: the electromagnetic wave absorber includes a ring-shaped magnetic substance core, and a ring-shaped case in which the magnetic substance core is housed, the cover includes a first latch formed on an outer circumferential surface of the cover, and the case includes a second latch that latches to the first latch in the length direction of the cover.
Electrical Plug with Friction Brake Device, as well as Arrangement and Method
An electrical plug includes a plug housing having a first plug housing section with a longitudinal axis and a friction brake device including a friction brake part arranged on an outer face of the first plug housing section. The friction brake part is exposed towards an outside in a radial direction to the longitudinal axis. The friction brake device provides a friction braking azimuthally around the longitudinal axis below a set torque threshold value for the electrical plug.
Transition Adapter
A transition adapter for a conduit system includes a body having a first end, a second end, and a hollow core. The transition adapter further includes a first threaded portion configured for connection to a conduit fitting or a cord grip fitting, a second threaded portion configured for connection to a conduit body, and a flange surface for receiving a gasket of the conduit fitting or the cord grip fitting.
Bushing and cable gland including bushing
A cable gland includes a bushing. The bushing may include a rib on an interior surface of the bushing to facilitate sealing and gripping of a cable received in the cable gland. The bushing may comprise or be formed from a silicone rubber material.
COMPRESSIBLE CONDULET DEVICES, ASSEMBLIES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRICAL RACEWAY FABRICATION
A condulet assembly for fabricating a rigid or intermediate metal conduit raceway of an electrical system is provided. The condulet assembly includes a gasket and a condulet including a condulet body and a mouth with an interior ridge positioned circumferentially along an interior of the mouth wall. The interior ridge includes a plurality of projections configured to form a plurality of indentations circumferentially around an exterior of the metal conduit and engage the metal conduit at the indentations when the mouth is compressed with the metal conduit received therein. The gasket is sized to circumscribe the conduit and includes a ring body and a first lip, wherein the ring body and the first lip deform and seal a gap between the interior of the mouth wall and the exterior of the metal conduit when the mouth is compressed with the metal conduit received therein.
Electromagnetic compatibility type cable locking joint
Disclosed in the present disclosure is an electromagnetic compatibility type cable locking joint. The electromagnetic compatibility type cable locking joint comprises a joint main body, a joint cap, a sealing ring, and a shielding member. The joint main body has a central hole, and an inner step is provided in the central hole. The sealing ring is connected to the end of the joint main body, and a positioning groove is formed between the sealing ring and the inner step. The joint cap is connected to the sealing ring, the shielding member comprises an upper ring, a lower ring, and an arc-shaped elastic piece. A plurality of arc-shaped elastic pieces are uniformly arranged in a circle. The upper end of each arc-shaped elastic piece is formed on the upper ring, and the lower end of each arc-shaped elastic piece is formed on the lower ring.
Apparatus for different sized boxes
An electrical box for accommodating at least one duplex electrical outlet including a first side, a second side having a mount opening therein. The electrical box also includes a mounting tube. The mounting tube is mountable to the mount opening. The mounting tube further includes first tubular member having a first length, and a second member fittable within the first tubular member. The second member further includes a tubular main body including a tubular portion fittable within the first tubular member, and a first end including a stop. The first end and stop engage the mount opening in the second side.
WEATHERPROOF ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURE WITH REINFORCEMENT
The present disclosure provides descriptions of electrical box assemblies for supporting heavy fixtures, such as ceiling fans, and facilitating electrical connections to the fixtures. The electrical box assembly includes an electrical box that allows a connection between the box and electrical conduits and a connection, e.g., a weatherproof connection, with a housing of the fixture. The box has an open front face to house electrical connections between the fixture and wires supplying electrical power to the box via the conduits. The box has a bottom wall and an open front face. A reinforcement member fits within the electrical box and includes a panel shaped to conform to at least a portion of the bottom wall and one or more standoffs extending toward the open front face of the box. When the reinforcement member is positioned within the box, mounting holes in the bottom wall of the box and reinforcement member are aligned to allow the box to be attached to a building structure.
CONDUIT BODY ASSEMBLIES HAVING ATTACHED COVERS
An electrical conduit body assembly is provided. The assembly includes a body portion, a cover, and a movable connection. The movable connection connects the body portion and the cover to one another so that the cover can be moved with respect to the body portion between an open state and a closed state in a manner that prevents the cover from being misplaced or disassociated from the body portion.
