Power adapter having contact elements in a recess and method of controlling a power adapter
A power adapter configured to provide power to a load is described. The power adapter may comprise a first plurality of contact elements accessible on an outer surface of the power adapter, the first plurality of contact elements comprising a first contact element configured to receive power; and a recess comprising a second plurality of contact elements and adapted to receive a control attachment; wherein a second contact element of the second plurality of contact elements is configured to receive power by way of the first contact element of the first plurality of contact elements, and a third contact element of the second plurality of contact elements is configured to receive power by way of the control attachment.
HOUSING
The present invention relates to a housing of an electric/electronic equipment, such as a luminaire, terminal box, control device, switching distributor or the like, comprising at least one lateral surface facing the surroundings. In order to improve a housing of said type in such a way that a sufficient strength of the housing is given, even with a comparatively small material thickness, and such that also additional measures for cooling can be dispensed with, a plurality of impact dampers that protrude at least from the lateral surface are arranged on said lateral surface.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX
An electrical junction box can include a case, a substrate connector, and a substrate. The substrate is temporarily fixed and soldered to the substrate connector. The substrate connector and the substrate are stored in the case. The substrate connector includes a pair of shaft-shaped temporary fixing protrusions. Each of the temporary fixing protrusions includes a positioning shaft that positions the substrate and a temporary fixing shaft that prevents the temporary fixing protrusions from coming loose from the substrate. The temporary fixing protrusions can be fitted into fitting holes in the substrate.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION WITH WIRELESS CONTROLLER
One aspect is an electrical junction with wireless controller configured for attachment in a building structure. The junction includes a junction body having surfaces defining an opening. A junction device is coupled to the opening of the junction body and a wireless controller is coupled to the junction body. An external conductor routs voltage from a voltage source in the building structure into the junction body. The wireless controller is electrically coupled between the external conductor and the junction device and is mechanically coupled to the junction body behind a surface of the building structure.
Building wiring system, components and methods
The building electrical wiring system includes a component box to attach to a wall frame, and a current plate configured to be mounted at a back of the component box having a plurality of receiving slots corresponding respectively to hot, neutral and ground. A component device, such as a switch, includes internal component circuitry terminating in a plurality of conductor stems to insert into a respective receiving slot of the current plate. An electrical jumper bar includes an insulated conductor extending between opposite ends which include a respective prong for each conductive path and configured to electrically couple the current plate to another current plate associated with another component device.
LED power supply integrated junction box
Provided is an LED power supply integrated junction box, which includes a main body and a bottom cover. One side of an inner wall of the main body is connected with multiple positioning hollow columns. A partition is fixedly connected to the middle of the main body. Two small circular through holes are defined in one side of the partition. The opposite surfaces of the partition and the inner wall of the main body are each fixedly connected with multiple clamping grooves.
While-in-use outdoor cover with recessed electrical device
A while-in-use cover assembly includes a hood and a base connected to the hood. The base includes a first side wall and a first back wall forming a first cavity with a first opening opposite the first back wall. The hood covers the first opening, the first side wall includes a first side wall edge and a second side wall edge opposite the first side wall edge. The first side wall edge is proximate to the first opening, and the second side wall edge is proximate to the first back wall. The first back wall includes a second opening to a second cavity. A second side wall defines the second cavity and extends from the first back wall from the first opening. The first cavity and the second cavity provide access through the first opening and the second opening to an electrical device coupled to the second side wall.
Outlet cover system with fixed anchor
Technologies are described for an outlet cover system. The systems may include a cover, base and coupling system. The base and cover of the outlet cover system may be joined using the coupling system. The coupling system may include a bottom half and a top half. The bottom half and top half may be joined using an anchor. The anchor may include an anchor head, anchor shaft and anchor lid. The anchor head includes flares which can compress and expand to prevent its removal from the coupling system. The joining of the bottom and top half of the coupling system allows the outlet cover system to move between open and closed positions.
ELECTRICAL BOX SUPPORT
A support is provided for mounting an electrical box in an opening formed in a block. The support includes a planar body configured to be coupled to a first side wall of the electrical box. The body includes at least one side edge. The support further includes a flange coupled to the first side edge of the body and extends substantially perpendicular to a plane of the body. The flange is configured to contact an outer surface of the block and to orient an outer edge of the electrical box relative to the block. The support further includes a retention member that is coupled to the body. The retention member has an end. At least a portion of the retention member is movable from a first configuration to a second configuration in which the portion of the retention member is positioned away from the body and contacts the block.
Electrical junction box with built-in isolation transformer
An electrical junction box with a built-in isolation transformer is provided. The junction box comprises an interior base portion having at least one opening, a transformer secured to the interior base portion and in electrical communication with low-voltage and high-voltage terminals, a cover configured to attach to a junction box base plate and housing the interior base portion and the transformer, and a gasket providing a watertight seal between the cover and the junction box base plate.
