Electrical accessories and associated methods of use and manufacture are provided. In one embodiment, an electrical accessory can be provided. The electrical accessory can include a frame including two side walls in parallel relation to each other, and two end walls in parallel relation to each other, and disposed between the two side walls. The electrical accessory can also include at least one positioning arm mounted to at least one of the end walls, wherein the at least one positioning arm comprises a support leg mounted to the at least one end wall, and a prong substantially perpendicular to the at least one positioning arm, wherein a side wall portion of an adjacent electrical accessory can be positioned between the prong and at least one side wall.

HOUSING ATTACHED TO MULTI-POLE FUSIBLE LINK, FUSE, AND FUSE BOX

The present invention provides a housing, fuse, and fuse box, with which it is possible to differentiate a multi-pole fusible link and prevent misassembly, while holding down costs. This housing is attached to a multi-pole fusible link contained within a containing part of a fuse box, and is provided with misassembly-preventing protrusions which are removable according to the type of multi-pole fusible link, the locations of the misassembly-preventing protrusions protrusions corresponding to the locations of recesses recesses which are provided to the containing part that is to contain the multi-pole fusible link, and in which the misassembly-preventing protrusions can be contained.

Modular Wall-Mounted Electrical Control Device

A family of wall-mounted electrical fixtures, both for lighting control and electrical power or signal delivery, having a modular design. Said modular design predominately isolating those components that are directly connected to in-wall wiring within a wall-mounted base and low-voltage control and communication components, such as sensors, user-interface elements, programmable logic and wireless communication modules, within an aesthetically-appealing, easily-detachable faceplate assembly.

Cable housing system

A cable housing system includes a housing positioned below a travel path having a crown surface. A plurality of surface lid sections are connected to the housing. The surface lid sections generally lie flush with the surface crown of the travel path when in a closed position and define gaps between the surface lid sections when in an open position. A surface lid interlocking mechanism connects at least two adjacent surface lid sections, and an attachment mechanism provides for the surface lid sections to be selectively moved relative to the housing.

Lighting system and method thereof

A lighting system has a plurality of central-control devices and a plurality of groups of local light-control devices. The central-control devices are electrically connected in a first daisy-chain form. Each group of local light-control devices are electrically connected in a second daisy-chain form. Each group of local light-control devices are connected to one of the plurality of central-control devices.

Support device for use with electrical box

A support device can have an opening to receive electrical cable or conduit and a gate that is configured to bend between an open configuration and a closed configuration relative to the opening. A locking tab can be provided configured to be selectively engaged with the gate to secure the gate in the closed configuration.

Separable wallbox device and memory

A frame or the like incorporating a removable device for placement on a wallbox. The frame may be attached to a conventional wallbox without modification to the wallbox. The device may be mounted to, in or on the frame. A memory for the device may be situated on or embedded in the frame. If the device fails, it may be easily removed from the frame and replaced with a new or other working device without frame removal from the wallbox. The replacement device may be configured with information in the memory that contained the configuration for the failed device. The memory or the frame holding it may also be replaced if it fails; however, memory failure is rare compared to device failure. Thus, expense may be spared with just a replacement device and an available configuration in the remaining memory. The memory may have a secure trusted platform.

ENCLOSURE WITH GROMMETLESS STRAIN RELIEF

Enclosures with grommetless strain relief are provided, each including a base and a cover. The base has a bottom and four sidewalls arranged to provide an open box-like structure. A first of the sidewalls of the base is configured with a wire routing slot at its perimeter. The cover has a top and four sidewalls arranged to provide an open box-like structure configured to couple with the base, so as to provide a strain relief for an electrical wire passing through the wire routing slot. The wire is pressed against a length of the first sidewall of the base by a first sidewall of the cover. The enclosure may include other features, such as rounded edges in the wire routing path, a wire guide and/or strap to inhibit wire movement between the first sidewalls, and/or one or more locking mechanisms configured to secure the cover to the base.

INTERFACE ASSEMBLY

An interface component for insertion in a certain-sized connection box placed for another component such as a switch or other electrical mechanism. The interface component may bring in new capabilities plus maintain the capabilities of the removed component. The box need not be removed, or if the boxed is removed the structure or space encompassing the box need not be enlarged. Further, no new wiring is necessarily needed. This placement or substitution may be particularly applicable to rooms of hotels, motels, and other similar facilities. Neither time nor expense of redoing structure to hold a larger box or provide more space or wiring is needed. In many cases, there is not adequate space to add components for providing additional capabilities to a room.

ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX

An electrical junction box includes a circuit structure, a case main body made of a synthetic resin and having an accommodating portion that accommodates the circuit structure, and a cover 30 made of a metal and that is attached to the case main body, covering the accommodating portion thereof. The cover has a covering wall that covers the accommodating portion of the case main body and a side wall that is continuous with the covering wall and that is disposed around the case main body. The case main body is provided with an abutment portion that abuts on a portion of the side wall of the cover, but not on an end portion of the side wall that is located on the side facing away from the covering wall.
