Adjustable floor electrical box assembly
An adjustable floor box assembly including: 1) an electrical box having a front edge, a sidewall and opposing vertical edges, electrical box vertical channels at the opposing sidewall vertical edges; a bolt guide on the sidewall adjacent the front edge in vertical alignment with a slot in the sidewall; and 2) an adjustable flange including: a) a horizontal member including, an aperture for the insertion of a threaded adjustment bolt; and b) an integral vertical member having vertical flange edges and flange channels on the vertical flange edges that slidably engage the vertical channels, and at least one adjustment bolt engagement member that engages the threads of an threaded adjustment bolt inserted through the bolt guide, so that, as the adjustment bolt is rotated, the adjustable flange moves slidably up and down as the vertical flange edges and flange channels move slidably in the electrical box vertical channels.
MODULAR CONSUMER-CONFIGURABLE ELECTRICAL FIXTURE SYSTEM
Described herein is a modular outlet system that provides flexibility in locating switches, outlets, and sensors. A base can be recessed into a surface, such as a wall, floor, or ceiling and can be connected to a power source. The base can accept multiple types of inserts. The inserts can include switches, outlets, sensors, and blank plates. The inserts can lock into place with the base and unlock based on manipulation of a recessed button. Inserts can engage the base with staged gate opening to minimize chances of electrical shock.
JUNCTION BOX INTERFACE CHASSIS AND PLUGGABLE MODULAR DEVICES
Various components and subcomponents of a pluggable modular system for electrical junction boxes are described herein. In various embodiments, a jbox interface chassis is configured to be wired and fastened within an electrical junction box to provide a hot-swappable pluggable interface between the wires in the electrical junction box and each of a plurality of hot-swappable pluggable modular devices. The jbox interface chassis may include a front pluggable interface configured to electrically mate with a corresponding rear pluggable interface on a casing of each pluggable modular device. As an example, the jbox interface chassis may include a plurality of slots or holes to receive a corresponding plurality of blades or pins on the casing of each pluggable modular device. Additionally, device adapters are described herein to convert a wide variety of legacy electrical devices into pluggable modular devices.

WATER RESISTANT ELECTRICAL DEVICES
An electrical outlet device includes water-resistant components to prevent the ingress of water to electrical components. One example includes a faceplate having a front surface, an outer edge extending around the front surface, and a first outlet opening extending through the front surface. A water-resistant seal is connected to the front surface of the faceplate. The seal has a first slit aligned with the first opening, a first flap adjacent the slit, and a second flap adjacent the slit. The first flap and the second flap are resiliently biased to a closed position and are moveable upon insertion of a plug.

Electric junction box and assembling method thereof
In an electric junction box, both first locking portions and second locking portions are provided in one accommodation portion. The first locking portions are capable of locking an FL holder when the FL holder is inserted from an upper opening toward a lower opening. The second locking portions are capable of locking an FL holder when the FL holder is inserted from the lower opening toward the upper opening. Accordingly, the FL holders can be inserted into the same accommodation portion from the upper opening and the lower opening.
