Universal pre-fabricated operating room ceiling system
A pre-fabricated universal operating room ceiling system including red iron steel support frames and a track assembly immediately above the ceiling in the interstitial space of the operating room for supporting medical equipment including medical gas lines and electrical and data cabling and heating, ventilation and cooling trunk lines and ducts for reducing interference with such systems when installing or moving operating room equipment.
LIGHTING JUNCTION BOX
A lighting-junction-box-assembly-for-remodel (assembly) has a lighting-junction-box, leg-springs attached to the lighting-junction-box, and mounting-tabs attached to the lighting-junction-box. The leg-springs are used to (temporarily) hold (by friction) the assembly within a hole in an existing ceiling, sized to fit the assembly. While the leg-springs are (temporarily) holding the assembly within the hole in the existing ceiling, other/different holes within extension-portions of the mounting-tabs are used to secure the entire assembly to the existing ceiling, via mechanical fasteners passing through the extension-portion holes and into the existing ceiling. An existing ceiling may be retrofitted with this assembly to have a lighting-junction-box where desired/needed in that existing ceiling; and as such, this assembly is particularly useful in remodeling situations (applications); however, the assembly may also be used in new construction. The assembly may also include a second junction-box to offload some of the circuitry that would otherwise be included within a lighting can.
Electrical device assembly and securing mechanism
Example embodiments provide a device that includes a housing with a surface with a cable pass-through hole, and a plate mounted against a surface of the housing, such that the plate includes a base which is affixed to the housing surface, and a protruding portion which extends vertically from the base, and the protruding portion has a support element which protrudes in a horizontal direction with respect to the base so a cable may rest against the protruding portion while being passed through the cable pass-through hole.
PLENUM RATED CORD REEL ASSEMBLIES
A cord reel assembly is provided that includes a plenum-rated enclosure with a cord reel secured in the enclosure where the enclosure forms an air tight seal from a plenum space, but is open to a finished space. Thus, a cord reel assembly is provided that includes a cord reel and a plenum rated enclosure. The cord reel has a base plate. The enclosure is open at a bottom edge. The base plate is secured in the enclosure.
MODULAR PRE-WIRED DWELLING PANEL DESIGN
Prefabricated wall panels simplify the constructive of dwelling units and other structures. The wall panels include an electrical junction that enables the wall panels to couple to other wall panels, allowing electricity to flow between panels. Each wall panel includes electrical conduit to allow for the flow of electricity within the wall panel. The electrical conduit is coupled to power outlets within the wall panels. In some embodiments, the wall panels additional include network line, enabling the flow of data between panels. The electrical conduit can transmit both power and data within the conduit. In such embodiments, a controller can decode the data signals from the power signals within the conduit. The wall panel can additionally include one or more components that can perform functions based on the data, or that can couple to devices or systems that can communicate via the conduit.
MODULAR INSERT FOR A PATIENT ROOM
A modular insert for a patient room, the modular insert having a headwall with supply connections for electricity and medical grade vacuum, air and oxygen, and a lightbridge with medical examination lighting, the lightbridge coupled to the headwall. Further a lifting frame for transporting the modular insert to a patient room and facilitating installation thereof in the patient room, the lifting frame having a floor member for removably attaching to the headwall and a wall member for removably attaching to the lightbridge, the wall member pivotally attached to the floor member. Still further, a method for transporting the modular insert to a patient room and installing the modular insert in the patient room using the lifting frame.
Metal-clad multi-circuit electrical cable assembly
An electrical cable assembly, comprising a first electrical circuit further comprising a first plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another, wherein the first plurality of insulated conductors are cabled together in a bundle. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a second electrical circuit longitudinally disposed to the first electrical circuit, the second electrical circuit comprising a second plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another and cabled together in a bundle and a nonmetallic jacket surrounding the second plurality of insulated conductors and wherein the nonmetallic jacket isolating the first electrical circuit from the second electrical circuit. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a flexible interlocking metallic armor encasing the first and second electrical circuits.
Electrical Box and Conduit Support Plates
The present disclosure provides improved electrical box and conduit support plates that allow for central mounting of an electrical box to a support plate and mounting of electrical conduits for suspended installations in various orientations. The support plate includes a body having a plurality of built-in offsets, a plurality of built-in hanger tabs, and a plurality of clip mounting apertures that may be arranged as pairs. Each built-in offset preferably has two side walls extending from the body and a mounting arm between the side walls. Each mounting arm includes a plurality of clamp mounting apertures used to attach a conduit clamp to the mounting arm. Each of the plurality of built-in hanger tabs are preferably bendable relative to the body. Box and conduit support kits that includes a body and a plurality of hanger clips are also provided.
AUTOMATED INSTALLATION AND RECONFIGURATION OF FIBER OPTIC AND COPPER CABLES IN LARGE SCALE DATA CENTERS
Apparatus and methods are employed to install fiber optic cables in a data center facility using one or more cable dispensing robots that dispense fiber optic cable that is pre-spooled on a cable cartridge, by programmatically unspooling the cable from the cable cartridge and paying the cable out along a potentially transverse oscillatory path (e.g. sinusoidal curve) as the robot moves down a cable tray network that is arranged adjacent and above large numbers of equipment bays. A controller accesses a database which stores the state of the cables within the cable tray network. The database further stores information regarding availability of cable cartridges of standard cable lengths, which are potentially stored within a cable cassette loading/unloading system. The controller receives instructions on where and how to spatially deploy a fiber optic interconnect cable within the tray network of the data center facility.
