METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING POWER OF WIND FARM
Provided are a power control method and apparatus for a wind farm. The power control method includes: calculate an adjustable power range for each wind turbine according to a current power output state of each wind turbine in the wind farm, in response to receiving a whole-farm active power adjustment signal for the wind farm sent by a power grid; and calculate a power allocated to each wind turbine based on the adjustable power range for each wind turbine and a whole-farm target power indicated by the whole-farm active power adjustment signal, so as to generate an active power adjustment command and send the generated active power adjustment command to each wind turbine.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Power Flow in a Hybrid Power System
A system and method for controlling power flow in a hybrid power system includes a controller in communication with the hybrid power system. The controller is also in communication with at least one knowledge system to receive information related to power generation or power consumption within the hybrid power system. The controller generates a control command for each of the power converters in the hybrid power system and maintains a log of power flow to and from each device in the hybrid power system. The controller is also in communication with a provider of the utility grid and may generate the control commands for each of the power converters in response to commands provided from the provider of the utility grid.

Various embodiments provide methods and systems for the deployment of distributed energy systems. In an embodiment, a method, performed by a microgrid controller of a microgrid, includes receiving information indicating that a failure has occurred in at least one external grid connected to the microgrid. In response to receiving the information, the method further includes transmitting operational parameters to one or more energy resources to regulate power injected into the microgrid when the microgrid is importing power from the at least one external grid.

A computing system is provided for intelligent monitoring and management of an electrical system. The system receives electrical usage data and electrical production data via a computer network from a plurality of grid agents at a plurality of points across the electrical system; receives a privacy permission from an owner of one of the plurality of grid agents; based on the privacy permission, authorize sharing of a shareable portion of the electrical usage data and/or a shareable portion of the electrical production data and restrict sharing of a restricted portion of the electrical usage data and/or a restricted portion of the electrical production data; and executes a prediction model which processes patterns observed in the shareable portion of the electrical usage data and the shareable portion of the electrical production data, and predicts a forecasted aspect of the electrical system; and outputs the forecasted aspect of the electrical system.
Photovoltaic power plant and secondary frequency modulation control method therefor
A photovoltaic power plant and a secondary frequency modulation control method therefor are disclosed. The photovoltaic power plant includes a photovoltaic power station and an active power control system, wherein the photovoltaic power station includes a photovoltaic array and a photovoltaic inverter, the photovoltaic inverter being used for converting direct-current electric energy generated by the photovoltaic array into alternating-current electric energy; and the active power control system is used for performing power allocation on the photovoltaic inverter based on a power control AGC instruction value when running data of the photovoltaic power plant meets a pre-set secondary frequency modulation condition, and adjusting an active power output from the photovoltaic inverter based on an AGC instruction value of the photovoltaic inverter subjected to power allocation. The photovoltaic power station can improve the accuracy of power control and the stability of a power system.
ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTOR AND METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING ELECTRICAL POWER
An electrical power distributor for an electricity grid comprising an electrical distributor circuit having at least three terminals, wherein sources and sinks for electrical energy can be connected to the terminals, and wherein the three terminals are electrically connected together in such a way that an electric current can flow from each of the terminals to each of the other terminals. Each of the terminals has a respective power controller which is so adapted that in operation of the power distributor the electric power P(t) flowing by way of the respective terminal can be adjusted in dependence on time t. The control means is connected to each of the power controllers, and it calculates the electric power P(t) flowing by way of each of the terminals in dependence on the data received from the sources or sinks.
Flexible Variable Speed Genset System
A variable speed genset system is provided. The variable speed genset system may include a plurality of gensets, a switch assembly coupling one or more of the gensets to a common bus, a power electronics circuit selectively coupling the switch assembly to the common bus, and a controller in electrical communication with the gensets, the switch assembly and the power electronics circuit. The controller may be configured to designate any one or more of the gensets to operate as variable speed gensets and one or more of the remaining gensets to operate as constant speed gensets, engage the switch assembly to couple the variable speed genset to the power electronics circuit, and engage the switch assembly to couple the constant speed gensets to the common bus.

This application discloses a photovoltaic device, a photovoltaic inverter, a system, and a power limit control method. The device includes a DC-DC converter circuit, an inverter circuit, and a controller. An input end of the DC-DC converter circuit is connected to a photovoltaic array, and an output end of the DC-DC converter circuit is connected to an input end of the inverter circuit. The controller is configured to: receive a power scheduling instruction, where the power scheduling instruction carries a power reference value; and when the power reference value is less than a power at a maximum power point, reduce an input current of the DC-DC converter circuit; or when an input voltage of the DC-DC converter circuit is greater than or equal to a preset voltage, increase an input current of the DC-DC converter circuit until an output power of an inverter becomes consistent with the power reference value.

A power supply apparatus, a power supply system, and a power supply method increase the power generation efficiency of the system overall in a system that includes a plurality of power source units. A power supply apparatus operates distributed power sources in parallel, the distributed power sources including power source units, and supplies output power from the distributed power sources to a load. The power supply apparatus includes a controller that controls each power source unit so that output power from whichever of the power source units has higher power generation efficiency is prioritized to increase.
