The wireless power transmitter includes a power converter configured to transfer wireless power to an external receiver; and at least one processor configured to communicate with the receiver to control transmission of the wireless power and to perform transmission or reception of data, wherein the processor is configured to receive, from the receiver, a received power packet (RPP) which informs a value of received power; transmit, to the wireless power receiver, a bit pattern for requesting communication in response to the RPP; and receive a polling packet from the receiver in response to the bit pattern.
System and method for determining master/slave switches in a multi-way switch system
A power switch configured for use in a multi-way switch system is provided. The power switch includes one or more switching elements configured to selectively couple a load to a power source. The power switch includes a power metering circuit and a communications circuit. The communications circuit can be configured to provide communications between the power switch and at least one other power switch in the switch system. The power switch can include a control device configured obtain data from the power metering circuit. The data can be indicative of power consumption of the load. The control device can be further configured to determine whether the power switch is a master power switch in the multi-way switch system based on the data.
POWER AMOUNT MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, POWER AMOUNT MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND POWER AMOUNT MEASUREMENT DEVICE
When a baseline is in a certain state, a server executes a process including: a step of calculating an amount of power exchanged between a battery and a power grid during the first charging control; a step of calculating an amount of power exchanged between the battery and the power grid during the second charging control; a step of calculating an amount of power exchanged between the battery and the power grid during the first power feeding control; a step of calculating an amount of power exchanged between the battery and the power grid during the second power feeding control; and a step of setting a calibration line for the amount of power.
Feedforward Dynamic and Distributed Energy Storage System
A system and method for energy distribution leveraging dynamic feedforward allocation of distributed energy storage using multiple energy distribution pathways to maximize load-balancing to accelerate return on investment, reduce system energy consumption, and maximize utilization of existing energy infrastructure particularly for modular construction.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING POWER WIRELESSLY
A wireless power receiver and a wireless power reception method are disclosed. The wireless power receiver includes a charging element, a receiving coil configured to wirelessly receive power from a wireless power transmitter, a rectifier configured to convert an alternating current (AC) voltage generated from the receiving coil to a direct current (DC) voltage, and to output the DC voltage, a voltage converter configured to generate a charging current to charge the charging element, based on the DC voltage output from the rectifier, a current measurer configured to measure the charging current transferred to the charging element, and a controller configured to control a level of the charging current generated from the voltage converter based on a result of the measuring.
System, method, and apparatus for electric power grid and network management of grid elements
Systems, methods, and apparatus for smart electric power grid communication are disclosed in the present invention. At least one grid element is constructed and configured in network-based communication with a server via at least one coordinator. The at least one grid element is transformed into at least one active grid element automatically and/or autonomously after initial connection with the server. The at least one active grid element sends and receives messages to and from the server via at least one coordinator. The at least one coordinator matches and prioritizes the at least one active grid element. The at least one coordinator provides a priority flag on the messages. The at least one coordinator tracks an actual amount of power introduced to and available for an electric power grid or a curtailment power available from the at least one active grid element.
Control system for power transmission within a structure
A system of electrical distribution within a building, which selectively energizes power sockets only when an appliance is connected to the socket and in need of power.
Power adapters adapted to receive a module and methods of implementing power adapters with modules
A power adapter configured to apply power to a device is disclosed. The power adapter comprises a contact element configured to receive power; a first outlet configured to receive the power and adapted to provide the power to the device; a recess for receiving a module that is removably coupled to the power adapter, wherein the module is adapted to generate control signals; and a control circuit coupled to the recess; wherein the control circuit controls the application of the power to the first outlet in response to the control signals.
System and method for power sharing between a plurality of electrical appliances on an alternating current circuit
A method for power sharing between a plurality of electrical appliances electrically coupled to an AC circuit is provided. The method can include obtaining, by one or more control devices of a first electrical appliance of the plurality of electrical appliances, data indicative of a request of a second electrical appliance of the plurality of electrical appliances to switch from a first power mode to a second power mode. In response to obtaining the data indicative of the request, the method can further include determining, by the one or more control devices, whether any of the plurality of electrical appliances are currently configured in the second power mode. Furthermore, in response to determining none of the plurality of electrical appliances are currently configured in the second power mode, the method can include transmitting, by the one or more control devices, data indicative of approval of the request.
