The groove inserted portion includes: a first inserted portion that can be inserted inside the insertion groove when the insulating film is in a bent and folded state; and a second inserted portion that is contiguous to the first inserted portion, a shape of a visible outline of a cross section of the second inserted portion being different than that of the first inserted portion. The second inserted portion generates a stronger elastic force of recovery than the first inserted portion when the groove inserted portion is inserted into the insertion groove.

A stator of an electric motor having a stator core with a plurality of salient stator poles, an insulating cap, a stator winding consisting of a winding wire, and an interconnection unit with a plurality of winding-wire receptacles having an inside, wherein the winding wire is surrounded by a material constituting the winding-wire receptacle and connected and welded thereto on the inside. The stator is of an electric motor which is of a very high quality and precision so that high-current applications are possible. Without any major adjustments, the stator is combinable with different winding connections and is flexibly adaptable to the rest of the motor and possibly to the electronics design. The manufacturing method is capable of being flexibly adapted to different wire diameters.

A coil inserted into the slots along the radial direction of the stator core is guided by the guide members. The guide member includes a guide groove. The guide groove includes, on a side close to the end face of the stator core, a cuff support groove that houses and supports a cuff of one of the insulating members that protrudes from the end face of the stator core, and on a side far from the end face, a coil guide groove that protrudes toward an inside of the slot more than the cuff support groove and contacts the coil to guide movement of the coil.

Disclosed herein is a stator assembly for a motor. The stator assembly comprises a stator core having a plurality of teeth around each of which a stator coil is wound, a first insulator coupled to one side of the stator core to provide insulation between one tooth and an adjacent tooth, a second insulator coupled to the other side of the stator core to provide insulation between one tooth and an adjacent tooth, and a three-phase terminal inserted between the stator core and the second insulator and protruded partially to the outside of the second insulator to be electrically connected to an inverter. According to the present invention, there are advantageous effects that since the three-phase terminal is assembled between insulators, breakaway and breakage of the three-phase terminal can be prevented and that insulation effect and assembly capability thereof are enhanced.

A stator for a motor of a compressor includes a stator core, insulator, coil, slot insulator, and inter-coil insulator. The stator core has a plurality of tooth portions arrayed circumferentially. The insulator is fitted to axial end faces of the stator core. The coil is wound on the tooth portions. The slot insulator is placed within slot portions that are spaces between circumferentially neighboring ones of the tooth portions, and which are interposed between the stator core and the coil. The inter-coil insulator is placed between circumferentially mutually neighboring windings of the coil. The inter-coil insulator is sheet shaped and folded over a width equal to double a sheet thickness at a folding-bottom portion extending along an axial direction. The folding-bottom portion is positioned on a distal end side of the tooth portions. Movement of the folding-bottom portion in a radial direction toward the rotor is restricted.
