ELECTROMAGNETIC GYROSCOPIC STABILIZING PROPULSION SYSTEM METHOD AND APPARATUS
20240002063 · 2024-01-04 ·

Electromagnetic gyroscopic stabilizing propulsion system method and apparatus is an electric gyroscope that creates magnetic fields used to rotate its flywheel. The rotation of its flywheel creates both a gyroscopic effect and thrust with airfoil shaped spokes. The invention attaches to an airframe through an articulating joint that causes the axle of the gyroscope to precess in a vertical orientation regardless of the movements/angle of the airframe. The gyroscope's thrust aligns itself with the axle of the gyroscope. The net effect is that the invention has tremendous efficiency, no external drive because it is also a motor, tremendous power from magnetic leverage of the flywheel, and stability because of the gyroscopic effect.

Bearing configuration for an electronic motor
10879757 · 2020-12-29 · ·

Disclosed is an electronic motor with two bearings. The motor is structured so that, when loaded, the majority of the load (e.g., a radial load) is borne by one of the bearings. The bearing that bears a greater load may be larger and, thus, better suited for a heavy load. In some embodiments, the larger bearing may include rolling elements that have respective radii larger than respective radii of rolling elements of the other bearing by a ratio of at least 1.5 (150%). In some embodiments, the larger bearing may have an outer race with a radius that is greater than a radius of the outer race of the smaller bearing by a ratio of at least 1.5. In some embodiments, the motors may include a third bearing between the two bearings. The third bearing may reduce vibration in the motor.

Brushless direct current vibration motor having cogging plates for optimized vibrations
10862368 · 2020-12-08 ·

Disclosed is a brushless DC vibration motor. An eccentric weight of a rotor is securely sandwiched between a back yoke and a permanent magnet, being heavier to provide an increased vibrational force. A bearing coupling portion with upper and lower stopping protrusions prevents detachment of a bearing. A bracket is formed with grooves, instead of through holes, to strongly support a cogging plate of which pieces are connected with each other to form a single body for easy-placement on the bracket. An optimized area of the cogging plate can suppress the rotor not to rise during starting of the motor, resulting in no frictional noise, and a high stopping speed and uniform horizontal level of the rotating rotor.

ACTUATOR STATOR

An actuator for high rotational speed applications using a stator which utilizes laminated features to reduce Eddy current losses in the stator. This construction allows high pole counts while providing the efficiency and high-speed benefits of a laminated construction. Laminated construction is very challenging for a high pole count lightweight motor, but embodiments of the device provide structural strength, and rigidity, as well as other benefits such as low manufacturing cost, high heat dissipation, integrated cooling channels, and light weight construction. Many of these benefits result from the use of a laminate sandwich of non-magnetic, heat conductive material, such as anodized aluminum, as a structural member of the stator.
