ELECTRIC ACTUATOR FOR A MARINE STEERING SYSTEM
An electric actuator comprises a housing and an output shaft reciprocatingly received by the housing. There is a screw assembly disposed within the housing and coupled to the output shaft. The screw assembly includes a plurality of annular rollers and a central screw received by the annular rollers. The annular rollers are rotatable about the central screw. There is a motor which includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor has an inner bore which engages the annular rollers. Rotation of the rotor causes the central screw to translate axially relative to the rotor and the output shaft to reciprocate relative to the housing.
Electric motor clutch/brake assembly
A clutch/brake assembly is provided which includes a coil plate non-rotatably captured between the upper housing and the lower housing and having affixed thereon a ring shaped coil, a clutch rotor rotatably secured to the shaft and having a groove configured to accommodate therein the ring shaped coil, and a clutch output assembly having a clutch/brake disc and a clutch output shaft. The clutch/brake disc and the clutch output shaft are attached to one another by a plurality of springs. The clutch/brake assembly may be mounted on a deck of a lawnmower to drive a blade.
DRIVETRAIN COMPONENT INCLUDING AN ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATOR WITH INTEGRATED WIRE CONNECTION
A solenoid assembly for a rotary power transmission device, includes a core having an interior cavity, a wire coil received within the interior cavity, and at least one wire via which electricity is provided to the wire coil. A connection between the at least one wire and the wire coil is located within the interior cavity.
DRIVING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
An image forming apparatus includes an output shaft including a columnar part and a D cut part connected to the columnar part and having a D section, and an electromagnetic clutch including a cylindrical member fitted to the output shaft. The image forming apparatus further includes a key member. The key member includes a conductive member. When the D cut part of the output shaft is employed as an insertion tip side and the output shaft has been inserted to the cylindrical member from one side in an axial direction, the key member is configured to fill a space between the sectional circular part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member and the D cut part of the output shaft.
Power system
A power system for an aircraft comprises: a motor-generator component; a shaft, wherein the motor-generator component is connectable to the shaft, the shaft connectable to an additional component of the aircraft to for torque transfer with the additional component; and a de-coupler operable to disconnect the motor-generator component from the shaft, wherein the motor-generator component is located between the de-coupler and the additional component in use.
Linear guide system
The present invention relates to a linear guide system having: at least a first rail element and a second rail element, the first rail element and the second rail element being mounted linearly displaceably relative to each other in and counter to a extraction direction; an electric motor; an input shaft, the input shaft being operatively coupled to the electric motor such that the electric motor sets the input shaft in rotation during operation of the linear guide system; a linear drive, the linear drive having an output shaft, and the linear drive being designed such that a rotary movement of the output shaft effects a linear movement of the first and second rail elements relative to each other in or counter to the extraction direction; and a clutch, the clutch connecting the input shaft and the output shaft to each other such that the clutch transmits a torque from the input shaft to the output shaft, the clutch being a magnetic clutch. The magnetic clutch has a first and a second clutch element, the first clutch element being connected in a torque-resistant manner to the input shaft, and the second clutch element being connected in a torque-resistant manner to the output shaft.
Washing machine
A washing machine includes a controller. The controller perform switching processing, by moving a moving part in an axial direction so that the moving part is switched from a start state in which one of a rotor-side fixing part and a stator-side fixing part engages with the moving part to an end state in which a remaining one of the rotor-side fixing part and the stator-side fixing part engages with the moving part. The controller is further configured to perform an adjustment operation before the end state of the switching processing starts. In the adjustment operation, the controller is further configured to adjust an engagement position by changing a rotation phase of rotor so as to allow an engagement position of the moving part with respect to the remaining one of the rotor-side fixing part and the stator-side fixing part to become a target engagement position.
Ultra-Short Electromechanical Servo Mechanism for Mechanical Fault Self-Recovery
An ultra-short electromechanical servo mechanism for mechanical fault self-recovery. Two sets of lead screw transmission components having the same lead parameters and bearing capacity are redundantly and coaxially arranged, and are powered by a single servo motor set. A lead screw roll limiting electromagnetic clutch and a nut roll limiting electromagnetic clutch are used for realizing fault isolation when a primary lead screw pair is stuck or jammed. Meanwhile, a standby bearing lead screw pair is started to synchronously complete mechanical fault self-recovery.
Multispeed electric drive module actuation mechanism
An electric drive module for an electrified vehicle includes an electric motor, a transmission and a multispeed actuation mechanism (MAM). The transmission is driven by a rotatable output of the electric motor and includes a first drive shaft and a second drive shaft. The transmission has a first gear set that selectively converts rotatable motion of the first drive shaft into rotatable motion of the second drive shaft in a first gear mode at a first drive ratio, and a second gear set that selectively converts rotatable motion of the first drive shaft into rotatable motion of the second drive shaft in a second gear mode at a second drive ratio, distinct from the first drive ratio. The MAM has magnetic fluid therein. Activation of the magnetic fluid causes a shift to occur within the transmission from the first gear set to the second gear set.
