Actuator having an associated locking device and torque limiter
The invention relates to an actuator comprising a stationary structure and an actuating element that is movable relative to the stationary structure, a device for locking the actuating element in position which is mounted on the stationary structure and has a state for locking and a state for releasing the actuating element. The locking device comprises, successively, a stress limiter and at least one locking element so arranged as to be butting against one surface of the actuating element, in order to oppose a motion of the actuating element in a predetermined direction. The actuator comprises a member for controlling the locking device in the releasing state thereof and a member for resiliently returning the locking device to the locking state thereof.
Electric actuator for a marine steering system
An electric actuator comprises a housing and an output shaft reciprocatingly received by the housing. There is a screw assembly disposed within the housing and coupled to the output shaft. The screw assembly includes a plurality of annular rollers and a central screw received by the annular rollers. The annular rollers are rotatable about the central screw. There is a motor which includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor has an inner bore which engages the annular rollers. Rotation of the rotor causes the central screw to translate axially relative to the rotor and the output shaft to reciprocate relative to the housing.
Combination electric generator with electric clutch
A generator and clutch assembly is disclosed for use in a vehicle and includes a rotatable input, an electric generator in a generator housing, a clutch rotor by driven by the rotatable input, and an electric clutch and brake assembly which may be integrated with the generator housing. A field coil may be mounted to an external surface of the generator housing. The generator and clutch may be offset and connected by means of a transfer system having a transfer housing, wherein a field coil is mounted to an external surface of the transfer housing.

Device for disconnecting and braking a rotor of an electric machine
This device for disconnecting and braking a rotor of an electric machine comprises an inner axis driven in rotation by the rotor and longitudinally movable between an engagement position and a disconnection position, the disconnection and braking device further comprising a longitudinally fixed nut and a mechanism or system for braking the rotation of the nut so that braking of the rotation of the nut urges the inner axis into its disconnection position and brakes the rotation of the rotor.
