MANUALLY OPERATED GENERATOR AND METHODS OF USE
A power generation device includes a body, an electric generator, a hub, and an arm. The body extends from a first end to a second end and a longitudinal axis extends from the first end to the second end. The electric generator is housed within the body and includes a rotor. The hub is coupled to the body at the first end and is rotatable with respect to the body about the longitudinal axis. The arm extends from the hub such that the arm is rotatable with the huh about the longitudinal axis. The arm is pivotably coupled to the hub such that arm is pivotable with respect to the hub about a pivot axis that is non-collinear with the longitudinal axis. Rotation of the hub and the arm about the longitudinal axis causes rotation of the rotor of the generator to generate electrical power.
Hub assembly for human-powered vehicle
A hub assembly is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The hub assembly is basically provided with a hub axle, a hub body, an electric component and a user input device. The hub body is rotatably mounted on the hub axle to rotate around a rotational center axis of the hub assembly. The user input device is electrically coupled to the electric component.
Mobile emergency charging device for a battery of a motor vehicle, emergency charging method, and motor vehicle with a lifting mechanism
A mobile emergency charging device for a battery of a motor vehicle that is designed to charge the battery in a recuperation operation. The mobile emergency charging device has at least one fuel tank, an internal combustion engine, and at least one drive roller for driving a wheel of the motor vehicle. This at least one drive roller is connected at least indirectly to an output shaft of the internal combustion engine and, by way of this connection, the drive roller is set into a rotational movement when the internal combustion engine is running.
Gravity line power generation system including a sled mechanism to harvest kinetic energy from a wheeled vehicle moving down a slope
A power generation system for the production of electric power or the accomplishment of other work objectives utilizes kinetic energy derived from the action of the force of gravity on a vehicle that is allowed to move along a power generation path having a downward grade. A tether cable connects the vehicle to a tether member that moves along a downhill line in response to the movement of the vehicle along the path, and the movement of the tether member operates a gearing mechanism that operates a machine to accomplish the work objective.
Bicycle electric power generating device
A bicycle electric power generating device includes a shaft member, a rotation body coaxially rotatable relative to the shaft member, an armature provided on one of the shaft member and the rotation body and a magnet having circumferentially arranged poles provided on the other one to rotate relative to the armature. The armature includes a first yoke with at least one first yoke pieces, a second yoke with at least one second yoke pieces, and a coil. The first and second yoke pieces are arranged parallel to an axis of the shaft member so as not to overlap with each other in a circumferential direction of the shaft member. The magnet includes a first magnet facing the first yoke pieces in a radial direction of the shaft member and a second magnet facing the second yoke pieces in the radial direction.
DEVICE FOR USE IN GENERATING ELECTRIC POWER AND BRAKING, KIT AND BRAKE UNIT OF SAME
A device for use in generating electric power and braking, a kit and a brake unit of the same are provided. A brake body in the brake unit includes a plurality of brake blocks. The brake unit has an electromagnetic air gap which is adjustable and controllable in high precision. Therefore, the tolerance of the electromagnetic air gap between the brake unit and the wheel is made small, even without increasing the machining precision and costs of the brake unit, thereby enhancing resistance precision.
PORTABLE APPARATUS FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY
A portable apparatus for generating electricity is provided comprising an electrical energy-generating device for generating electrical energy in response to input mechanical action. The apparatus comprises a drive mechanism having an elongate flexible member provided as a closed endless loop. A portion of the elongate flexible member is exposed so as to enable a user to grasp and pull said portion downward by a distance of at least 30 cm. The drive mechanism supplies the said mechanical action to the electricity-generating device, wherein said mechanical action is provided by user applying a downward force to the elongate flexible member so as to cause the elongate flexible member to move with respect to the mounting element. A re-chargeable battery is further provided for storing the electrical energy generated by the electrical energy-generating device. A mounting element enables the apparatus to be supported at a suspended position relative to the ground during use.
POWER-GENERATING AND ROTATING ROAD MARKER USING MAGNET
The present invention provides a power-generating and rotating road marker using a magnet, in which a magnet is inserted into a waste golf ball and light is emitted using power generated via the magnet, so that a vehicle driver can easily identify a road even at night, thereby enabling the vehicle driver to perform safe driving. In particular, the present invention provides a power-generating and rotating road marker using a magnet, in which a magnetic electrode unit is disposed in a waste golf ball, power generated by the magnetic electrode unit is supplied to a light emission unit, and the light emission unit is allowed to flicker, so that an effect arises in that a vehicle driver can easily identify the flickering light emission unit and thus perform safe driving even at night, thereby preventing a traffic accident from occurring.
REVERSE HORSE CART
A reverse horse cart having a treadmill allowing an animal to walk thereon to generate power to run a vehicle. A horse is used as a source of power for a vehicle wherein the horse (or other animal) also rides on the vehicle. To collect energy from the horse in an efficient and ethical matter, the horse will walk on a treadmill causing the belt to rotate a shaft that connects to a flywheel which is communication with a generator. The generator then connects to a tray of capacitors to store the energy. After the energy is stored, the capacitors send the energy to electrical regulators, which pass the electricity to four motors that control each wheel. The motion of the wheels is controlled by a motion logic controller.
