20180026557 · 2018-01-25 ·

A current balancing system, and associated method and computer-readable medium are disclosed herein. The current balancing system comprises a plurality of power inverters, each power inverter included within a respective current loop and configured to generate a corresponding current amount. The current balancing system further comprises a plurality of inverter controllers, each inverter controller associated with a respective one of the plurality of power inverters and configured to receive a reference frame-transformed amount of the corresponding current amount. Each inverter controller is capable of independently controlling the corresponding current amount provided to a load.

A motor control device drives first and second motors for outputting torque in braking or non-braking direction in a vehicle brake device, includes: an electric power converter that includes first to third legs having positive and negative switch elements; and a control unit. When the control unit energizes from the positive switch element of the first or third leg to the negative switch element of the second leg, the first and second motors output the torque in a same direction. When an absolute value of current flowing or estimated to flow in at least one of the first motor and the second motor exceeds a current threshold, the control unit drives the positive and negative switch elements of the second leg.

Half-step motor driver

An HVAC system comprising: an appliance; a control assembly; a first motor; and a second motor. The control assembly: applies a electric signal to the first terminal of the first winding of the first motor for a number of intervals of time; afterwards, apply a second signal to the first terminal of the first winding; apply the first electric signal to the first terminal of the second winding for a second number of regular intervals of time; and after the application of the first electric signal to the first terminal of the second winding, apply the second electric signal to the first terminal of the second winding of the second motor; wherein the first number of regular intervals of time and the second number of regular intervals of time differ by one regular interval of time.
