Heat conduction pattern for cooling a power module
A semiconductor module includes: a switching device including a gate pad; an output unit including an output pad connected with the gate pad of the switching device through a wire and outputting a drive signal from the output pad to the switching device; a temperature protection circuit detecting temperature and performing protection operation; and a heat conduction pattern connected with the output pad, extending from the output pad toward the temperature protection circuit, and conducting heat generated at the switching device to the temperature protection circuit.
Electric motor drive device
An electric motor drive device controls driving of a motor having open windings of two or more phases having end points that are open to each other. The switching arbitrator determines switching between a single-sided and dual-sided drive mode and arbitrates output of each of the inverters at a time of switching wherein output of the motor is continuous before and after the drive mode switching. The single-sided drive mode is a mode in which one of the two inverters performs switching drive. The dual-sided drive mode in which both the two inverters perform switching drive. The switching arbitrator gradually changes and increases the power level of the drive-start-side inverter from zero when the single-sided drive mode is switched to the dual-sided drive mode, and gradually changes and decreases the power level of the drive-end-side inverter to zero when the dual-sided drive mode is switched to the single-sided drive mode.

The semiconductor module is characterized by including a semiconductor element, a first terminal on which the semiconductor element is mounted, a second terminal disposed in a periphery of the semiconductor element and having a multiple of wiring portions, and a multiple of connection lines extending in multiple directions from an upper face of the semiconductor element and connected to each of the multiple of wiring portions of the second terminal, wherein a free region is provided among the multiple of wiring portions, and the multiple of connection lines and the multiple of wiring portions forming current paths with each of the multiple of connection lines are of the same potential.

INTEGRATED THREE-PHASE AC CHARGER FOR VEHICLE APPLICATIONS WITH DUAL-INVERTER DRIVE
A powertrain for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle applications with integrated three-phase AC charging featuring buck-boost operation and optional vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capability, along with corresponding methods and machine instruction sets for switch control. The powertrain can include of a three-phase current source converter (CSC) front-end with an associated input filter, a polarity inversion module, and in an embodiment, a dual-inverter motor drive. The dual-inverter drive is the source of both the back emf and requisite DC inductance for the CSC. A compact design is thus provided as no additional magnetics are required and the on-board cooling system required for traction mode can be re-deployed for charging and V2G mode. The powertrain is mode shifted between charging and V2G mode through an optional polarity inversion module.
EXTERNAL ADJUSTMENT OF A DRIVE CONTROL OF A SWITCH
A switch controller coupled to control a transistor. The switch controller comprising an interface coupled to receive a command signal in response to an event sensed in a control system. The command signal is representative of a first command to control the transistor with a first drive strength or a second command to control the transistor with a second drive strength. The switch controller is coupled to adjust a fall time or a rise time, or to adjust both the fall time and the rise time, of a voltage across the transistor in response to the command signal. The fall time or the rise time, or both the fall time and the rise time in response to the second command is shorter than the fall time or the rise time, or both the fall time and the rise time in response to the first command.
PRESSURE CONTROLLED GREASE PUMP
A mobile lubrication pump has a motor for driving the pump for producing a pump pressure, a pressure monitor for measuring the pump pressure, a motor controller for regulating the operation of the motor, and a data processing unit (DPU) for communicating with the motor controller, and for receiving: 1) input from the pressure monitor, and 2) user input related to pump capacity and/or lubrication target. The data processing unit is configured to determine and communicate a motor speed and/or motor torque to the motor controller based on the received input 1) and 2).

A mobile lubrication pump has a motor for driving the pump for producing a pump pressure, a pressure monitor for measuring the pump pressure, a motor controller for regulating the operation of the motor, and a data processing unit (DPU) for communicating with the motor controller, and for receiving: 1) input from the pressure monitor, and 2) user input related to pump capacity and/or lubrication target. The data processing unit is configured to determine and communicate a motor speed and/or motor torque to the motor controller based on the received input 1) and 2).
Power Conversion Device and Metal Processing Device
A power conversion device capable of shortening the time required for acceleration of a motor and a metal processing device including the power conversion device are provided. Then, a power conversion device 10 includes a converter 100 configured to convert an AC voltage from outside to a DC voltage Vo and a converter controller 107 configured to control the converter 100. The converter 100 includes a voltage doubler circuit 104 configured to boost the DC voltage Vo when activated, and outputs the DC voltage Vo having a voltage value different in accordance with the activation and stop of the voltage doubler circuit 104. The converter controller 107 activates the voltage doubler circuit 104 at a first time that is earlier by a predetermined period than a second time at which a speed command value ω* of the motor 130 rises from a predetermined value.
