The present disclosure relates to a 5.sup.th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates than 4.sup.th generation (4G) communication systems such as long-term evolution (LTE). In a wireless communication system, an apparatus comprises: a first amplifier unit that has a common source structure, includes cross-coupled capacitors, and amplifies an input signal; and a second amplifier unit that has a common gate structure, is connected to the first amplifier unit, and amplifies the signal output from the first amplifier unit, wherein the second amplifier unit includes a first input unit, a second input unit, a third input unit, and a fourth input unit, and two input units among the first input unit, the second input unit, the third input unit, and the fourth input unit may be connected to the first amplifier unit.

Noise detecting circuit and associated system and method

A noise detecting circuit including an amplifier circuit, a filtering circuit and a comparing circuit. The amplifier circuit is arranged to amplify an input signal and output an amplified signal, wherein the input signal is received from a circuit to be detected and indicates a noise level of the circuit to be detected. The filtering circuit is coupled to the amplifier circuit and arranged to filter the amplified signal and output a filtered signal. The comparing circuit is coupled to the filtering circuit and arranged to compare the filtered signal to a reference voltage and output an output signal indicating the noise level of the circuit to be detected.

A noise detecting circuit including an amplifier circuit, a filtering circuit and a comparing circuit. The amplifier circuit is arranged to amplify an input signal and output an amplified signal, wherein the input signal is received from a circuit to be detected and indicates a noise level of the circuit to be detected. The filtering circuit is coupled to the amplifier circuit and arranged to filter the amplified signal and output a filtered signal. High output power density radio frequency transistor amplifiers in flat no-lead overmold packages

Packaged RF transistor amplifiers are provided that include a flat no-lead overmold package that includes a die pad, a plurality of terminal pads and an overmold encapsulation that at least partially covers the die pad and the terminal pads and an RF transistor amplifier die mounted on the die pad and at least partially covered by the overmold encapsulation. These packaged RF transistor amplifiers may have an output power density of at least 3.0 W/mm.sup.2.

High output power density radio frequency transistor amplifiers in flat no-lead overmold packages

Packaged RF transistor amplifiers are provided that include a flat no-lead overmold package that includes a die pad, a plurality of terminal pads and an overmold encapsulation that at least partially covers the die pad and the terminal pads and an RF transistor amplifier die mounted on the die pad and at least partially covered by the overmold encapsulation. These packaged RF transistor amplifiers may have an output power density of at least 3.0 W/mm.sup.2.

A high-frequency power amplifier is configured in such a way as to include an input matching circuit, an amplifying element, an output matching circuit, a coupling circuit, a detection circuit, and an output terminal, and in such a way that either the input matching circuit or the output matching circuit has an active element, the detection circuit receives a signal outputted by the coupling circuit and outputs a control voltage into which the detection circuit converts the signal to the active element, and the active element changes the impedance of the active element in accordance with the control voltage outputted by the detection circuit, thereby changing the power of a signal outputted by either the input matching circuit having the active element or the output matching circuit having the active element, to change the power of a signal which the coupling circuit outputs to the output terminal.

In certain configurations, an RF amplifier system includes an RF amplifier that receives an RF signal from an input terminal and that generates an amplified RF signal at an output terminal, and an overload detection circuit that generates a detection signal indicating a detected signal level of the RF amplifier. The RF amplifier includes an amplification device that amplifies the RF signal and a degeneration circuit that provides degeneration to the amplification device. Additionally, the detection signal is operable to control an amount of degeneration provided by the degeneration circuit so as to protect the RF amplifier from overload.

Inter-wire distances of portions of the plurality of terminal wires connected to the metal pattern are larger than inter-wire distances between portions of the plurality of terminal wires connected to the terminal.
