Automatically generated media preview
Systems, devices, apparatuses, components, methods, and techniques for automatically generating media previews are provided. An example media system for automatically generating media previews for a particular artist include a trailer generation application configured to receive input specifying an artist and duration of a trailer, automatically select clips from two or more media items by the artist, and automatically arrange and combine the clips into a media trailer for later playback.
Power amplifying device and audio equipment
A power amplifying device according to an embodiment includes first to fourth BTL amplifiers and first to third switch circuits. The first to fourth BTL amplifiers outputs a first to fourth output signal. The first switch circuit is turned on or off connection between an output of the second output amplifier and an output of the third output amplifier. The second switch circuit is turned on or off connection between an output of the fifth output amplifier and an output of the eighth output amplifier. The third switch circuit is turned on or off connection between an output of the fourth output amplifier and an output of the seventh output amplifier. The first to third switch circuits are turned on when the amplitudes of the first to fourth input signals are smaller than a first threshold.
Power limiter configuration for audio signals
Example embodiments provide a process that includes one or more of receiving an audio signal at a feedback compressor circuit, multiplying the received audio signal with a power feedback signal to create a product audio signal, wherein the feedback signal comprises a low-pass filtered signal, applying a power amplifier to the product audio signal, and providing the amplified product audio signal as an output signal to a speaker.
System and method for calibrating microphone cut-off frequency
A system and method in an audio signal electrical circuit including a feedback loop with a digital filter coupled to a current digital to analog converter (IDAC) includes providing an output signal from the IDAC to analog elements of the audio signal electrical circuit, the output signal from the IDAC based upon a reference signal input to the IDAC when an output of the digital filter is not input to the IDAC. The system and method also include comparing an output signal of the audio signal electrical circuit to a reference, and calibrating the audio signal electrical circuit to correspond the output signal of the audio signal electrical circuit to the reference. Calibration of the audio signal electrical circuit enables more precise control of a cut-off frequency of a microphone signal when the output of the digital filter is input to the IDAC.
Environmental and aggregate acoustic dosimetry
A digital signal processing method for ambient sound acoustic dosimetry. Strength of a microphone signal generated by a watch worn by a user is determined and converted into a sound sample having units for sound noise exposure. This is repeated multiple times to produce a time sequence of sound samples that is written to a secure database access to which is authorized by the user. Other aspects are also described and claimed.
Playback Device Group Volume Control
Embodiments are provided for satellite volume control. An example method includes receiving an input at a playback device to adjust a volume for a plurality of playback devices that are grouped for synchronous playback of audio content, wherein the plurality of playback devices includes the playback device. The method also includes sending a first message over a network from the playback device to a device associated with the plurality of playback devices, the first message including information based on the input, wherein the information is used to adjust the volume of the plurality of playback devices. The method also includes receiving a second message at the playback device over the network, the second message including information for the volume of the playback device, wherein the volume is based on the adjusted volume of the plurality of playback devices.
Systems and methods of distributing audio to one or more playback devices
An example method includes receiving data indicating a configuration of one or more playback devices. The one or more playback devices may include one or more transducers. The method further includes, based on the received data, associating each of one or more audio streams respectively with at least one transducer of the one or more transducers. The method further includes generating the one or more audio streams and sending at least one of the generated one or more audio streams to each of the one or more playback devices. An example non-transitory computer readable medium and an example computing device related to the example method are also disclosed herein.
SYSTMS AND METHODS FOR EMULATING AN ENVIRONMENT CREATED BY THE OUTPUTS OF A PLURALITY OF DEVICES
Systems and methods are disclosed for emulating an environment created by the outputs of a plurality of devices. The system receives device control data for a device in a first venue. The control of the outputs of said devices according to the device control data creates an environment within the first venue. The system retrieves profile data for devices within a second venue. The system associates a device in the second venue with a device from the first venue, both devices having a similar output type. The system then generates control information adapted from the associated device of the first venue for the device in the second venue. The system controls the outputs of each device in the second plurality of devices according to the generated control information to emulate the environment within the first venue in the second venue.
Power limiter configuration for audio signals
Example embodiments provide a process that includes one or more of receiving an audio signal from a feedback path of a feedback compressor circuit, determining whether an auxiliary attenuation value applied to the feedback compressor circuit has changed since a last audio signal was received, responsive to determining the auxiliary value has changed, determining a current operational state value of the LPF needs to be modified based on the changed auxiliary attenuation value, modifying the operational state value of the LPF, and applying the audio signal to the modified LPF.
Thermal control of audio playback devices
To avoid damage from overheating, playback device operation can be modulated based on input from temperature sensors. An example method includes obtaining, via one or more temperature sensors carried by the playback device, temperature data. Based on the temperature data, a first temperature parameter is detected. In response to detecting the first temperature parameter, a gain of audio playback is decreased by a first amount. After decreasing the gain of audio playback by the first amount, a second temperature parameter is detected. In response to detecting the second temperature parameter, the gain of audio playback is decreased by a second amount different than the first amount.
