HIGH HARMONIC PERFORMANCE RADIO FREQUENCY FILTER
Disclosed is a radio frequency (RF) filter that vertically integrates an acoustic wave filter with an integrated passive device (IPD) filter. The acoustic wave filter provides selectivity at fundamental frequency band while the IPD filter provides rejection at harmonic frequency bands.

An acoustic wave filter includes a first signal terminal, an antenna terminal, a ladder-type filter connected between the first signal terminal and the antenna terminal and including one or more serial resonators and one or more parallel resonators connected in a ladder shape, and a capacitor part and an inductor part which are connected in series between the first signal terminal and a reference potential.
SWITCHABLE ACOUSTIC WAVE FILTER AND RELATED MULTIPLEXERS
Aspects of this disclosure relate to a multiplexer that includes a switchable acoustic wave filter. The switchable acoustic wave filter can include one or more acoustic wave resonators, switchable acoustic wave resonators, and a switch configurable into at least a first state and a second state. The switch can select a different subset of the switchable acoustic wave resonators to filter a radio frequency signal together with at least the one or more acoustic wave resonators in the first state than in the second state. Related filters, radio frequency systems, wireless communication devices, and methods are also disclosed.
COMPOSITE TRANSVERSELY-EXCITED FILM BULK ACOUSTIC RESONATOR CIRCUITS HAVING A CAPACITOR FOR IMPROVED REJECTION
A filter circuit has a cascaded resonator circuit with a first acoustic resonator and a second acoustic resonator connected in series on a printed circuit board (PCB). The admittances as functions of frequency of the first and second acoustic resonators are substantially identical. The filter circuit also has a composite resonator circuit formed by a capacitor connected in parallel with the second acoustic resonator on the PCB. The capacitor improves a steepness of an upper bandpass edge of the filter circuit.
Filter and multiplexer
A filter includes a series arm resonator that defines at least a portion of a signal path connected between first and second terminals, a parallel arm resonator including one end that is grounded, a first inductor including one end that is connected to one end of the series arm resonator and another end that is connected to another end of the parallel arm resonator, and a second inductor including one end that is connected to another end of the series arm resonator and another end that is connected to the other end of the parallel arm resonator. A relative band width of the parallel arm resonator is smaller than a relative band width of the series arm resonator.

When a current flowing in a series circuit including an equivalent resistance, an equivalent inductor, and an equivalent capacitance in an electric equivalent circuit of a specific resonator in each filter is defined as an acoustic path current, under conditions that a phase of an acoustic path current of a first transmission filter at a side of a common terminal at a frequency within a first pass band is represented as θ1.sub.Tx1, a phase of an acoustic path current of the first transmission filter at the side of the common terminal at a frequency within a second pass band is represented as θ2.sub.Tx1, a phase of an acoustic path current of a second transmission filter at the side of the common terminal at a frequency within the first pass band is represented as θ1.sub.Tx2, and a phase of an acoustic path current of the second transmission filter at the side of the common terminal at a frequency within the second pass band is represented as θ2.sub.Tx2, a multiplexer satisfies a first condition: |(2.Math.θ1.sub.Tx1−θ2.sub.Tx1)−(2.Math.θ1.sub.Tx2−θ2.sub.Tx2)|=180°±90°, or a second condition: |(2.Math.θ2.sub.Tx1−θ1.sub.Tx1)−(2.Math.θ2.sub.Tx2−θ1.sub.Tx2)|=180°±90°.
LADDER-TYPE FILTER AND MULTIPLEXER
A ladder-type filter includes a support substrate, a piezoelectric layer provided on the support substrate, a parallel resonator including first electrode fingers provided on the piezoelectric layer and having a first average pitch and a first average duty ratio, a largest first average pitch being equal to or greater than two times a thickness of the piezoelectric layer, a first end of the parallel resonator being coupled to a path between input and output terminals, a second end of the parallel resonator being coupled to a ground, and a series resonator connected in series between the input and output terminals, the series resonator including second electrode fingers provided on the piezoelectric layer and having a second average pitch and a second average duty ratio, a second average duty ratio in at least one series resonator being less than a smallest first average duty ratio.
Method of manufacturing integrated circuit configured with two or more single crystal acoustic resonator devices
A method of fabricating a configurable single crystal acoustic resonator (SCAR) device integrated circuit. The method includes providing a bulk substrate structure having first and second recessed regions with a support member disposed in between. A thickness of single crystal piezo material is formed overlying the bulk substrate with an exposed backside region configured with the first recessed region and a contact region configured with the second recessed region. A first electrode with a first terminal is formed overlying an upper portion of the piezo material, while a second electrode with a second terminal is formed overlying a lower portion of the piezo material. An acoustic reflector structure and a dielectric layer are formed overlying the resulting bulk structure. The resulting device includes a plurality of single crystal acoustic resonator devices, numbered from (R1) to (RN), where N is an integer greater than 1.
Acoustic wave filter device, multiplexer and composite filter device
An acoustic wave filter device includes at least one series arm resonator and a parallel arm resonator. The series arm resonators and the parallel arm resonator are defined by acoustic wave resonators, an interdigital transducer electrode of the series arm resonators is an apodized interdigital transducer electrode subjected to apodization weighting, in the interdigital transducer electrode of the parallel arm resonator, an intersecting portion includes a central region and low acoustic velocity regions provided at both outer side portions of the central portion, an acoustic velocity of an acoustic wave in the low acoustic velocity region is lower than an acoustic velocity of an acoustic wave in the central region, and a high acoustic velocity region where an acoustic velocity of an acoustic wave is higher than that of the low acoustic velocity region is provided at an outer side portion of each of the low acoustic velocity regions.
Frontend module
A frontend module includes a first filter having a passband of a first frequency band, a second filter having a passband of a second frequency band, the second frequency band being higher than the first frequency band, a third filter having a passband of a third frequency band, the third frequency band being higher than the second frequency band, and a sub-filter, connected to the second filter, configured to provide attenuation characteristics for the first frequency band, wherein the second filter comprises a plurality of parallel LC resonance circuits arranged between a ground and different nodes, from among a plurality of nodes between a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein an inductor is connected to a portion of the plurality of parallel LC resonance circuits.
