A three-dimensional puzzle. The puzzle includes a topmost puzzle layer having a marking disposed on an upper side thereof, a lowermost puzzle layer having a marking disposed on a lower side thereof, and a middle puzzle layer with a marking disposed on a sidewall thereof, wherein the layers are stacked to form a three-dimensional shape. Each layer has a plurality of puzzle pieces that are connectable to adjacent puzzle pieces via a magnetic retaining element. The markings are only disposed on surfaces of the layers that form an exterior of the assembled three-dimensional shape, wherein each side of the puzzle includes a completed pictorial display. In some embodiments, each puzzle piece includes a same shape and dimension as one another, wherein the markings and magnetic retaining element configuration provide the only guidance for assembling the puzzle.

Spelling Game with a Block of Character Labeled Dice
20180078849 · 2018-03-22 ·

Disclosed is a set of a plurality dice useful for playing a spelling game among multiple players and an exemplary method of playing the game. The plurality of dice is assembleable to form a dice block attractive for packaging. Typically, all of the dice are cube shaped and of the same dimensions. Each die of the set has each of its faces labeled with a character set consisting of one or more letters of the alphabet. The manner of play can be varied by altering the total number of individual dice in the dice set used for play, for example from 125 dice to 100 dice, by adding or removing dice specifically color-coded for that purpose. Thus the manner of play can be adjusted to alter the difficulty of play or the total time of play.

Modular polyhedral object
09873036 · 2018-01-23 · ·

A modular polyhedral object having at least four external faces which each have in the assembled state a different form and/or color design, is formed from several individual building blocks that each forms a part of the form or color design of each external face. The building blocks are joined together loosely or with releasable connecting means, wherein the building blocks of each module have at least four differently designed side faces. A form-congruent assembly of the object is created by arranging the individual building blocks so as to produce matching external faces on each side of the object, as well as to produce matching respective opposing side faces of the building blocks inside the object with vertically and horizontally matching coded pairs. A modular polyhedral cube-shaped object with at least five differently designed side faces is also described.

BLOCK TOY

The present invention relates to a block toy. Provided is a technology in which a block toy includes a finishing block or a control block together with general blocks having their own information so that a user can freely define a completion step, can express completion, and can check configuration information during a process of combining and arranging the blocks, and thus the technology is effective in understanding a structure, a principal and a concept for language or operation learning, the acquisition of knowledge or information, or the like. Furthermore, principal components, such as a memory device, a control device, a speaker, a screen, a power source, a communication module and a recording module, are provided, and thus the configurations of combinations of general blocks can be checked and notification of the configurations can be provided using only a small number of blocks, thereby considerably reducing manufacturing costs.

Construction elements and construction toy

This invention relates to construction components, and particularly to those used in toy construction sets and puzzles. A construction component has at least two interlocking joints, each of them is made in the form of a volumetric body with faces, at least part of which lie in the planes of the cube faces where cube face length is equal to <<a>>, where protrusions are made on at least one of the aforementioned faces, having a height <<a/2>> and containing four sections, arranged individually in the planes of the cube faces and adjacent to the face on which protrusions are made, wherein each face of the interlocking joint, lying on the plane of the faces of the cube, lies either in the plane of one of the faces of another interlocking joint or in the plane parallel to the plane of one of the faces of the other interlocking joint.

20250182640 · 2025-06-05 ·

A method for segmenting a digital image onto reconfigurable puzzle pieces is disclosed. The digital image is segmented into a set of sub-images using a first processing unit. The set of sub-images along with meta-data is transmitted to a set of second processing units or a set of puzzle components. Each puzzle component comprises at least one data memory to store the image, one or more display screens to display the sub-image, at least one program memory to execute a set of instructions to control the display of sub-images on one or more display screens, and one or more connectors to permit the mechanical connections between the puzzle components such that their aligned display screens comprise composite images. Each puzzle component identifies the attached other puzzle components through the connector. The assembly of the composite images supports educational, medical, therapeutic, or entertainment goals of a user assembling the puzzle components.
