System for providing haptic feedback across full palm rest in fixed position of information handling system
A keyboard, touchpad, and palm rest haptic response system may comprise a coversheet to identify a keyboard, a touchpad, and a palm rest on a C-cover for an information handling system, a haptic palm rest and touchpad feedback assembly disposed beneath the haptic palm rest area including haptic touchpad, and a haptic keyboard feedback assembly disposed beneath the keyboard. Keyboard controller and palm rest and touchpad controller may receive piezo actuation signals from keyboard piezoelectric elements and touchpad and palm rest piezoelectric elements, respectively, and send a haptic feedback control signals to the respective keyboard piezoelectric elements or palm rest and touchpad piezoelectric elements to cause keyboard haptic feedback or palmrest or touchpad haptic feedback at an actuation location.
KEYBOARD SENSOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A sensing system for a keyboard. Each key sensor comprises passive and active resonant circuits. The passive resonant circuit has a resonant frequency and the active resonant circuit excites the passive resonant circuit at the resonant frequency. A sensor driver drives the active resonant circuit with an RF drive signal, a multiplexing system multiplexes the drive signal such that simultaneously driven key sensors are separated by at least (k−1) keys, and a detector detects a level of RF signal from a driven key sensor for sensing a position and/or velocity of a key.
Computer with keyboard
A device may include a display portion that includes a display housing and a display at least partially within the display housing. The device may also include a base portion pivotally coupled to the display portion and including a bottom case, a top case coupled to the bottom case and defining an array of raised key regions, and a sensing system below the top case and configured to detect an input applied to a raised key region of the array of raised key regions.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING PRESSURE REFERENCE VALUE, AND CHIP AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for determining a pressure reference value, and a chip and an electronic device. The method includes: consecutively acquiring N pressure signals by a pressure sensor; acquiring consecutive N pressure values on the basis of the N pressure signals; and determining a latest pressure reference value on the basis of the consecutive N pressure values and time characteristics of the consecutively acquired N pressure signals; wherein each of the pressure values is a difference between a sampling value corresponding to a pressure signal and the pressure reference value, and the consecutively acquired N pressure signals are acquired within a duration where a pressure is applied to the pressure sensor once, N being a positive integer greater than 0.
Electronic device including power-on button and inductive touch force sensor
An inductive force sensor includes a reference resonance circuit, a first resonance circuit, and a determination circuit configured to obtain information about a first resonant frequency, attributable to first inductance due to an inductive coil based on the displacement between a target and the inductive coil formed by an external force input in a Z-axis direction, and a reference resonant frequency. The determination circuit determines the displacement of the target and the external force in the Z-axis direction based on the first resonant frequency and the reference resonant frequency.
