Methods for optimizing circuit performance via configurable clock skews

An integrated circuits with sequential logic circuitry is provided. The sequential logic circuitry may including latching circuits that receive clock signals from on-chip or off-chip clock sources. The clock signals may exhibit clock skew that is native to the integrated circuit. The natively existing clock skew can be leverage to perform time borrowing to help optimize circuit performance. The desired clock skew can be achieved by intelligent placement of the clock sources and deliberate routing of the clock signals from the clock sources to respective types of clock distribution networks on the integrated circuit.

The present disclosure describes a power supply switch that includes a voltage generator, a switch circuit, and a confirmation circuit. The voltage generator is configured to compare a first power supply voltage to a second power supply voltage and to output the first power supply voltage or the second power supply voltage as a bulk voltage (V.sub.bulk). The switch circuit includes one or more transistors and is configured to (i) bias bulk terminals of the one or more transistors with the V.sub.bulk and (ii) output either the first power supply voltage or the second power supply voltage as a voltage output signal. The confirmation circuit is configured to output a confirmation signal that indicates whether the voltage output signal transitioned from the first power supply voltage to the second power supply voltage.

For instance, one apparatus described herein includes a plurality of arrays of memory cells formed on a single memory chip. The apparatus further includes comparator circuitry configured to compare data values stored by two arrays selected from the plurality to determine whether there is a match between the data values stored by the two arrays. The apparatus further includes an output component configured to output data values of one of the two arrays responsive to determination of the match between the data values stored by the two arrays.

A power switch multiplexer with configurable overlap is disclosed. An integrated circuit (IC) includes a first functional circuit block coupled to receive a supply voltage from a first supply voltage node. The IC further includes an input circuit and an output circuit. Responsive to receiving an input signal, the input circuit asserts an activation signal to cause one of a second supply voltage node and a third supply voltage node to be electrically coupled to the first supply voltage node. Subsequently the input circuit asserts a deactivation signal to cause the other one of the second and third supply voltage nodes to be electrically decoupled from the first supply voltage node. The output circuit is coupled to receive the activation signal and the deactivation signal, and configured to assert a first output signal subsequent to receiving the activation signal.

REVERSIBLE LOGIC CIRCUIT AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

A reversible logic circuit and an operation method thereof are provided. The logic circuit includes resistive switching cells, word lines, and bit lines. The word lines and the bit lines are perpendicular to each other. The anode of a resistive switching cell is connected to the word line as a first input terminal to apply logic operating voltage or be grounded. The cathode of a resistive switching cell is connected to the bit line as a second input terminal to apply logic operating voltage or be grounded. When performing reversible logic operation, four levels of resistance states of the resistive switching cell are used as logic outputs to implement single-input NOT and dual-input C-NOT reversible logic functions.

The controller controls the stacked memory device such that first and second data move control operations are sequentially performed to transmit moving data from a target channel of the pluralities of channels to a destination channel of the pluralities of channels. The first data move control operation is performed to store the moving data in the target channel into the base die, and the second data move control operation is performed to write the moving data stored in the base die into the destination channel.
