TACTILE AND AUDIO-ENABLED GAMING
Systems and methods are disclosed for playing a game by providing a board with tactile and/or sound annotations uniquely referencing play positions on the board; and providing tactile and/or audible pieces to be used with the tactile and sound-annotated board.
Collapsible polyhedron
A collapsible, self-expanding polyhedron comprises a plurality of side members each connected with an elastic band that is sized to urge each side wall of adjacent side members together to form an expanded configuration. When the polyhedron is compressed on two opposing side members, which causes the other side members to separate into a collapsed configuration, the elastic band expands to a maximum length with maximum tension. Once the compression is released, the at least one elastic band retracts back to a minimum length and urges the side members back into the expanded configuration.
GAME ASSEMBLY
A game assembly includes a plurality of game tiles. Each of the game tiles has a length and a width of at least 20.0 inches to facilitate a player to stand upon the game tiles. The plurality of games tiles is sequentially numbered for arranging on a support surface in numeric order thereby defining a gaming area. Each of the game tiles has indicia comprising a respective one of a variety of verbal phrases or a number. A plurality of game cards is provided and each of the game cards has indicia comprising a variety of verbal commands. A die is provided to be rolled by the players thereby facilitating the players to be instructed to move between a number of the game tiles which corresponds to the number rolled on the die.
Methods for cloud based game streaming and setting data rates between remote clients and servers
A computer-implemented method for online game streaming includes receiving a request from a remote client to access a user account. The request is received at a hosting service that includes one or more servers and identifies digital content including video games available to the user. Selection of a video game is received by the hosting service from the remote client. In response, the hosting service initiates a data rate test of the remote client to identify a maximum available data rate available between the remote client and one or more servers of the hosting service. The data rate test is performed to identify an active data rate for streaming interactive content of the video game. The method also includes assigning the remote client to a server and setting the compression level to attain the active data rate having packet loss and latency that is within a predefined acceptable level.
Custom Audio Puzzle
This disclosure describes an apparatus and method of an embodiment of an invention that is custom audio puzzle. This embodiment of the apparatus includes: an audio board 306 with a processor, memory, and storage; switches 308 used as triggers to play selected custom audio files; an audio speaker 312; a power supply 304; communications circuitry to upload audio files to the processor, memory, and storage; software to allow the user to easily tie the audio files to the various switches used as triggers.
SEQUENTIALLY OPERATED MODULES
Method, modules and a system formed by connecting the modules for controlling payloads are disclosed. An activation signal is propagated in the system from a module to the modules connected to it. Upon receiving an activation signal, the module (after a pre-set or random delay) activates a payload associated with it, and transmits the activation signal (after another pre-set or random delay) to one or more modules connected to it. The system is initiated by a master module including a user activated switch producing the activation signal. The activation signal can be propagated in the system in one direction from the master to the last module, or carried bi-directionally allowing two way propagation, using a module which revert the direction of the activation signal propagation direction. A module may be individually powered by an internal power source such as a battery, or connected to external power source such as AC power. The system may use remote powering wherein few or all of the modules are powered from the same power source connected to the system in a single point. The power may be carried over dedicated wires or concurrently with the conductors carrying the activation signal. The payload may be a visual or an audible signaling device, and can be integrated within a module or external to it. The payload may be powered by a module or using a dedicated power source, and can involve randomness associated with its activation such as the delay, payload control or payload activation.
Shape sorting activity device
An activity device is provided that comprises a sorting substrate including multiple cavities, multiple toy blocks shaped and sized for insertion into respective ones of the cavities, and detection circuitry. The detection circuitry includes multiple sensors disposed on the sidewall of each toy block, including a first sensor disposed adjacent to the distal end of the toy block and a second sensor disposed proximally relative to the first sensor. The detection circuitry also includes at least one activator disposed on a side wall of each cavity and configured to (i) activate the first sensor of the corresponding toy block as the toy block is being inserted into the cavity to produce a first stimulus from the toy block and (ii) activate the second sensor of the corresponding toy block when the toy block is seated within the cavity to produce a second stimulus from the toy block.
Game scoring and tracking system
The present disclosure provides a game scoring and tracking system, including a playing surface, a projectile, a central unit, at least one speaker, a first corner illuminated indicia, a second corner illuminated indicia, a third corner illuminated indicia, a fourth corner illuminated indicia, a first goal, and a second goal. The first goal and the second goal are configured to receive the projectile from the playing surface. The first goal and the second goal each include an at least one sensor communicatively coupled to the central unit. The at least one sensor detects the projectile entering the applicable goal. The at least one speaker outputs various sounds and the first corner illuminated indicia, the second corner illuminated indicia, the third corner illuminated indicia, and the fourth corner illuminated indicia illuminate in numerous sequences to indicate the status of a game event.
CONTROL SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
In a case where an actual object is moved by a user manipulation or by other means, physical phenomena associated with the object are addressed. A control system includes a mobile apparatus being an apparatus that moves on a sheet where images indicating coordinates are arranged and having a camera for photographing part of the sheet. The control system acquires the user manipulation, controls the mobile apparatus in such a manner as to travel according to the user manipulation (S106), detects a position of the mobile apparatus on the basis of an image photographed by the camera included in the mobile apparatus (S101), determines, on the basis of the position detection by position detection means, whether or not the mobile apparatus has moved in a manner estimated on the basis of the user manipulation (S102, S105), and performs a predetermined procedure (S103, S110, S111) in a case where it is determined that the mobile apparatus does not move in the estimated manner.
