Retrofit switch
A retrofit switch apparatus is attached to a traditional switch device. The traditional switch device has a traditional switch for accepting a first user manual operation to control a target. The retrofit switch apparatus includes an attaching device, a retrofit housing and a touch module. The attaching device is attached to the traditional switch device. The retrofit housing provides a containing space for covering the traditional switch. The touch module has a touch surface and a driver circuit. The touch surface receives a second user manual operation processed by the driver circuit.
Retrofit switch
A retrofit switch apparatus is designed to pair with a traditional switch device that has a traditional switch for accepting a first user manual operation to control a target device connected to the traditional switch device with an electrical wire. The traditional switch device has a connecting structure. The retrofit switch apparatus has an attaching device, a retrofit housing and a control circuit. The attaching device is attached to the connecting structure of the traditional switch device. The control circuit wirelessly controls the target device.
Use of the modulation of a signal by a skin contact impedance for the maintenance and development of physical or mental abilities
The invention relates to the use of the modulation of an audio and/or visual signal by a variation in the impedance of at least one contact with the skin of at least one user, for the maintenance and/or development of the user's physical and/or mental abilities. The invention comprises the use of a device (100) for controlling the delivery of a medium, said device comprising: a first skin electrode (105) configured to generate electric waves, positioned against the skin of a first user; a second skin electrode (110) configured to capture electric waves, positioned against the skin of a second user, where the second user can be the first user; a detector (115) for detecting the value of an impedance parameter of the junction connecting the electrodes and passing through the contact with the skin of each user; and a control means (120) configured to transmit a medium-delivery command according to the value detected.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF FOR GRIP RECOGNITION
An electronic device and a method of grip recognition of the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes an antenna; a radio communication unit having a coupler; a memory; and a processor which is operatively connected to the radio communication unit and the memory. The memory comprises instructions, executable by the processor. The processor is configured to detect a first signal being transmitted and a second signal being received through the antenna using the coupler, calculate a reflection coefficient of the antenna based on the first signal and the second signal, determine at least one of a signal magnitude or a phase corresponding to the reflection coefficient, and determine whether the electronic device is being gripped based on the at least one of the signal magnitude or the phase.
Remote Three-Way Switch
A remote three-way switch. The remote three-way switch includes an actuator configured to actuate a mechanical switch, such as a light switch, according to a signal received from a remote control in wireless communication with the actuator. The signal received directs the actuator to mechanically actuate the switch from an on position to an off position, or from the off position to the on position. The remote three-way switch is portable, easy to install and uninstall, and is configured to assist an individual with operating the switch from a distance. The remote three-way switch may also be configured to be permanently installed into a wall, such that it appears like an ordinary light switch after installation.
TOUCH-BASED CONTROL DEVICE FOR SCENE INVOCATION
A control device having an exterior panel and a control module, where the control module includes a sensor layer, and the exterior panel overlays the sensor layer. The control module is configured to determine one or more characteristics of a touch input, and to select a scene based at least in part on the one or more determined characteristics of the touch input. The control module further controls an operational aspect of each device of the set in accordance with the selected scene.
Power Supply Control Device and Operating Method Using the Same
A power supply control device, applied for an electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a case, wherein a user holds the case to operate the electronic device. The power supply control device includes a sensing module, including a first sensing component for sensing whether the user is touching a first sensing area of the case to generate a first determination signal; and a second sensing component for sensing whether the user is touching a second sensing area of the case to generate a second determination signal; and a power supply module, including a first relay, for connecting or disconnecting a system power end of the electronic device from a power supply terminal according to the first determination signal; and a second relay, for connecting or disconnecting a system ground end of the electronic device from a ground terminal according to the second determination signal.
TRIBOELECTRIC SENSOR WITH HAPTIC FEEDBACK
Triboelectric-based sensors used to receive touch-based input from a user and control electronic devices are described. A triboelectric-based sensors may also incorporate a haptic feedback device, such as an actuator, co-located on the same substrate as the triboelectric-based sensor. The haptic feedback device and the triboelectric-based sensor may share an active polymer layer. The triboelectric-based sensors may include an active layer made from a perfluoronated copolymer, such as poly(methyl methacrylate)-co-poly(1H,1H-perfluoroctyl methacrylate) manufactured by free radical polymerization in benzene.
Haptic Operating Element For A Household Appliance
A haptic operating element for a household appliance includes a display field which is at least partially configured as a touch-sensitive screen. The household appliance includes at least one haptic operating element and an additional screen fixed relative to the device.
