A modifiable pinball machine includes a processing device, a memory storing instructions executable by the processing device, a communications interface coupled to the processing device for receiving new music data from a source external to the pinball machine for storage in the memory, and a speaker coupled to the processing device for playing music retrieved from the memory. The new music data is provided with data useable by the instructions to cause the processing device to automatically retrieve from the memory the new music data in lieu of originally provisioned music data, for playing via use of the speaker, when the pinball machine is caused to operate in a predetermined operating state.

Disclosed is a system and method for providing an entertaining experience of war between players over a plurality of areas of a game board. The game board includes a plurality of areas, which may be depicted as a world map, a plurality of board playing cards, and connectors, where the connector makes adjacent a first board playing card of a first playing area with a second board playing card of a second playing area. Each player is delt a plurality of holding cards including the suit assigned to that specific player. The objective of the game is for players to alternate swap requests, swapping holding cards with board playing cards until a player accumulates a winning hand including a straight flush. The defined areas and connectors on the game board increases the interaction and frequency of battles between players making it more difficult to accumulate a winning hand.

The disclosure relates to devices, systems, methods and computer readable media for providing network management of remote card handling, and physical manipulation. More particularly, the disclosure is directed to networked devices, systems, methods and computer program methods for remotely, physically modifying a card while leaving a physical record of the modified card for inspection and validation and delivering the manipulation results to a user, and/or other third parties, for example, scratch lottery cards and ballot cards.

A system for allowing a user to remotely access a game includes: a game console; a remote console client configured to receive a game control signal; and a remote console server. The remote console server includes an audio and video encoder configured to receive an audio output and a video output from the game console and to convert the audio output and the video output to a network packet. The remote console server also includes: a game controller emulation unit and a network interface configured to send and receive the network packet. The game controller emulation unit is configured to receive a game controller signal from the game console and to send the game controller signal to the remote console client and to receive a game controller input from the remote console client and send the game controller input to the game console.

A system and method of competitively gaming in a mixed reality with multiple players provides a facility in which various types of drone/RC vehicle, including, but not limited to, quadcopters, submarines, tanks, radio-controlled vehicles, and more, may be stored, maintained, and deployed. Users enter a pod equipped with virtual reality headgear and several controls befitting the drone/RC vehicle type or game type being played. The virtual reality headgear enables users to control the drone/RC vehicle from a first-person perspective, utilizing cameras strategically dispersed throughout the drone/RC vehicle. Between uses, drones/RC vehicles are sent through automated maintenance, which allows for standard maintenance for functional units and automated part replacement as needed for damaged units. The automated maintenance allows for continuous play, as opposed to single unit aerial drone racing, in which drones generally require maintenance between uses.

A method and apparatus for providing hybrid draw poker games to online players, poker hands comprise both physical card values dealt by a dealer and electronically-generated card values from the gaming server. The gaming server receives an indication from each of the remote players of how many hands each player would like to play, and a wager amount for each hand. Electronic indications of an initial set of physical cards dealt by the dealer are then provided to the online players. A subset of the augmented controls can be activated by the user to execute AR events some of which can have real-world impact. The AR events are executed based on game rules.

The web camera is attachable by means of the support arrangement to capture video of the game machine. The game machine system further includes a communication interface for a remote control of the remotely controllable game machine.
