COMPRESSED CACHE USING DYNAMICALLY STACKED ROARING BITMAPS
A method for compressing data in a local cache of a web server is described. A local cache compression engine accesses values in the local cache and determines a cardinality of the values of the local cache. The local cache compression engine determines a compression rate of a compression algorithm based on the cardinality of the values of the local cache. The compression algorithm is applied to the cache based on the compression rate to generate a compressed local cache.
ADAPTIVE COMPRESSION OPTIMIZATION FOR EFFECTIVE PRUNING
A database management system is described that can encode data to generate a plurality of data vectors. The database management system can perform the encoding by using a dictionary. The database management system can adaptively reorder the plurality of data vectors to prepare for compression of the plurality of data vectors. During a forward pass of the adaptive reordering, most frequent values of a data vector of the plurality of data vectors can be moved-up in the data vector. During a backward pass of the adaptive reordering, content within a rest range of a plurality of rest ranges can be rearranged within the plurality of data vectors according to frequencies of the content. The reordering according to frequency can further sort the rest range by value. Related apparatuses, systems, methods, techniques, computer programmable products, computer readable media, and articles are also described.
Method And System For Sampling And Converting Vehicular Network Data
A method for sampling and converting vehicular network data is executed by a vehicle host. The vehicle host selects one of multiple data signals from an original signal, and establishes a data table. The vehicle host further determines whether the original signal includes any data signal remaining unselected. When the original signal does not include any data signal remaining unselected, the vehicle host differentially samples data in the data table corresponding to other time sequences by using the data in the data table corresponding to a first time sequence as a reference to generate a differential data table, and compresses the differential data table. The method can reduce the amount of data by performing differential sampling, so that the compression ratio of the data can be effectively improved, and the delay of data transmission can be avoided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING DATA
Method and apparatus for processing data are disclosed. The method may include: sorting to-be-compressed at least one piece of data in a predetermined order; for a sorted piece of data, in response to the data having a common prefix with a previous piece of data of the piece of data, adding the common prefix to a common prefix set; dividing the sorted at least one piece of data into at least one group based on the common prefix set and determining a common prefix of each group; and storing, for a group in the at least one group, a common prefix of the group and a non-common prefix portion of each piece of data in the group, and recording a common prefix corresponding to each piece of data in the each group and a shared length between the each piece of data and the common prefix.
DIGITAL LENSING
A method, and the associated design, schema and techniques for processing digital data, whether random or not, through encoding and decoding losslessly and correctly for purposes of encryption/decryption or compression/decompression or both, including the use of Digital Lensing, Unlimited Code System, and other associated techniques. There is no assumption of or requirement for the digital information to be processed before processing.
Generating a data stream with configurable compression
One example method includes receiving a first data stream that has a compressibility greater than zero, receiving a second data stream that has a compressibility that is different from the compressibility of the first data stream, receiving a compressibility merging parameter N, creating a mixed data stream having a compressibility of N by mixing data from the first data stream with data from the second data stream, and outputting the mixed data stream.
Systems and Methods for Version Chain Clustering
A system, a method and a computer program product for storing data, which include receiving a data stream having a plurality of transactions that include at least one portion of data, determining whether at least one portion of data within at least one transaction is substantially similar to at least another portion of data within at least one transaction, clustering together at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data within at least one transaction, selecting one of at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data as a representative of at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data in the received data stream, and storing each representative of a portion of data from each transaction in the plurality of transactions, wherein a plurality of representatives is configured to form a chain representing the received data stream.
Method of compression for fixed-length data
The disclosure is directed at a method of data compression. The method includes creating a set of single composite data structures and then calculating a set of bit probabilities based on the set of single data structures. The bit probabilities are then used to create a set of intermediate buffers which are then sorted and traversed for data compression.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a storage storing a matrix included in an artificial intelligence model, and a processor. The processor divides data included in at least a portion of the matrix by one of rows and columns of the matrix to form groups, clusters the groups into clusters based on data included in each of the groups, and quantizes data divided by the other one of rows and columns of the matrix among data included in each of the clusters.
