TRANSMISSION METHOD AND RECEPTION DEVICE
The present technology relates to a transmission method and a reception device for securing favorable communication quality in data transmission using an LDPC code.
In group-wise interleaving, the LDPC code with a code length N of 69120 bits is interleaved in units of 360-bit bit groups 0 to 191. In group-wise deinterleaving, a sequence of the LDPC code after group-wise interleaving is returned to an original sequence. The present technology can be applied, for example, in a case of performing data transmission using an LDPC code, and the like.
LDPC performance improvement using SBE-LBD decoding method and LBD collision reduction
Systems and methods are described for performing Layered Belief LDPC decoding on received Standard Belief LDPC encoded data bursts. In on implementation, a receiver: demodulates a signal, the demodulated signal including a noise corrupted signal derived from a codeword encoded using standard belief LDPC encoding; converts the noise corrupted signal derived from the standard belief LDPC encoded codeword to a noise corrupted signal derived from a layered belief LDPC encoded codeword; and decodes the noise corrupted signal derived from the layered belief LDPC encoded codeword using a layered belief LDPC decoder. In further implementations, systems are described for reducing collisions in Layered Belief LDPC decoders that occur when multiple parity checks need the same soft decision at the same time. In these implementations, elements in an original LBD decoder table are rearranged to increase the distance between elements specifying the same location in a RAM where soft decisions are stored.
Transmission apparatus, transmission method, reception apparatus, and reception method
The present technique relates to a transmission apparatus, a transmission method, a reception apparatus, and a reception method that can ensure favorable communication quality in data transmission using an LDPC code. LDPC coding is performed based on a check matrix of an LDPC code with a code length N of 69120 bits and a code rate r of 2/16, 3/16, or 4/16. The check matrix includes a matrix A with M1 rows and K columns, where M1 represents a predetermined value, and K=Nr represents an information length of the LDPC code, a matrix B with M1 rows and M1 columns in a dual diagonal structure, a matrix Z with M1 rows and NKM1 columns that is a zero matrix, a matrix C with NKM1 rows and K+M1 columns, and a matrix D with NKM1 rows and NKM1 columns that is an identity matrix. The matrix A and the matrix C are represented by a check matrix initial value table. The check matrix initial value table is a table indicating positions of elements of 1 in the matrix A and the matrix C on a basis of 360 columns and is a predetermined table. The present technique can be applied to, for example, data transmission using the LDPC code.

In group-wise interleaving, an LDPC code with a code length N of 69120 bits is interleaved in units of bit groups of 360 bits. In group-wise deinterleaving, an arrangement of the LDPC code after the group-wise interleaving is returned to an original arrangement. The present technology can be applied, for example, to the case of performing data transmission by using an LDPC code or the like.

Methods and systems for transcoder, FEC and interleaver optimization
An interleaved encoder includes a number of encoders consisting of L parallel encoders, and a first switch circuit to sequentially couple an input node to an input port of one of the encoders. The input node receives a group of K*L symbols. Each symbol of the group of K*L symbols is received in synch with a respective clock pulse of a group of K*L clock pulses. The first switch circuit is synched with clock pulses of the group of K*L clock pulses, and sequentially couples the input node to an input port of a subsequent one of the encoders in response to each clock pulse of the group of K*L clock pulses.
TONE-LEVEL INTERLEAVING AND DE-INTERLEAVING FOR BROADCAST OR MULTICAST COMMUNICATIONS
A base station maps code blocks of a transport block of a transport block size (TBS) for a channel using tone-level interleaving or resource element (RE)-level interleaving. Then, the base station can transmit the code blocks of the transport block of the TBS for the channel. A UE may receive the channel from the base station and de-interleave the received tones of the channel in a frequency domain to obtain the code blocks of the transport block having the TBS for the channel.
METHODS FOR INTERLEAVED MAPPING
Methods, systems, and devices for interleaved mapping are described. A transmitting device may identify a set of virtual resource blocks (VRBs) corresponding to at least one code block to be transmitted to a receiving device. The transmitting device may determine that a quantity of VRBs to be transmitted to the receiving device is different than a quantity of entries within a regular interleaving matrix. Thus, the transmitting device may map each of the VRBs to a physical resource block (PRB) according to an irregular interleaving matrix to generate at least one interleaved code block. The transmitting device may transmit the interleaved code block to the receiving device. The receiving device may receive the interleaved code block and identify the PRBs associated with the interleaved code block. The receiving device may map each of the PRBs within the interleaved code block to a VRB according to an irregular deinterleaving matrix.
