Game system, game method, and game program
A game system, a game method, and a game program, which allow the user to enjoy a game with peace of mind even if a bias is provided in predetermined parameters. The game system is configured to acquire, as available environment information indicating an available environment for a game to be executed on a user terminal used by the user, information indicating a type of an operating system (OS); and determine a parameter to be used to provide a content to the user each time the user performs an input operation on the basis of the information indicating the type of the OS associated with the user at the time of the input operation.
Controller mode for a mobile device
Techniques for a controller mode for a mobile device are described and may be implemented to enable a mobile device to implement a controller mode. In the controller mode a controller graphical user interface is presented on the mobile device and is utilized to receive input to interact with application content communicated from the mobile device to a remote display device. Generally, the described implementations enable multiple controller triggers to be utilized to trigger a controller mode on a mobile device.
GAME MAT, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided a game mat, an information processing apparatus, and an information processing method that can manage information regarding a game played using cards, in association with a mat ID of a mat serving as a storage space of the cards. A game mat according to an aspect of the present technology is a mat including: a mobile terminal antenna that receives a radio wave output by a reader/writer of a mobile terminal that communicates with a server that manages a game using an IC card; an IC card antenna that communicates with the IC card including an IC chip for an IC card in which reading/writing of data is performed contactlessly by a command transmitted from the reader/writer; a memory that stores a mat ID, which is identification information of a mat; and an internal IC chip that receives a command transmitted from the reader/writer and stores, into the memory in association with the mat ID, information regarding the game transmitted from the server. The present technology can be applied to a play mat of a card game using a smartphone having an NFC function and an IC card.
Patch and bulk operations for a legacy game
A method for emulating a disc swap operation during a play of a legacy game is described. The method includes receiving a user input during the play of the legacy game, determining that the disc swap operation is to be executed based on the user input, and identifying one or more emulated processing unit (PU) code instructions that are included within the disc swap operation during the play of the legacy game. The method further includes compiling, during the play of the legacy game, one or more basic blocks from the one or more emulated PU code instructions, and emulating the disc swap operation. The operation of emulating the disc swap operation includes executing a swap patch emulator.

Techniques for providing network applications
This disclosure describes, in part, methods and techniques for providing network applications. For instance, remote system(s) may generate a link that provides access to a network application. After generating the link, the remote system(s) may provide the link to a device of a source, such as a user, a developer, or a third-party service. The source may then use the device to share the link with a user. For example, the source may use the device to send a message that includes the link, post the link on a website, or share the link using a social media platform. The user may then use a device to view and select the link. Based on selecting the link, the remote system(s) may perform one or more actions. For example, the remote system(s) may create a session for the network application and provide the device with data to connect to the session.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for enhanced presentation remotes
In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for ascertaining aspects of a presentation and/or of an audience member. A presentation remote can be used to obtain information about the presentation and provide it to the audience member.
Companion device aided game controller pairing
A game controller is configured to selectively pair with a companion device using a first communication protocol and one or more gaming systems using a second communication protocol. The game controller is configured to send a pairing request to the companion device using the first communication protocol based on companion-device pairing data stored in a storage subsystem of the game controller. The game controller is configured to send a pairing request to a last-paired gaming system with which the game controller last paired using the second communication protocol based on gaming-system pairing data stored in the storage subsystem. Responsive to the game controller being unable to pair with the last-paired gaming system and while the game controller is paired with the companion device, the game controller is configured to send an error notification to the companion device using the first communication protocol.
Content-related information display system
Systems, methods, and media for displaying content are provided. According to a content-related information display system, a first memory stores content. A first processor outputs a drawing command for displaying the content on a first display, and generates progress status information which is related to a progress status of the content. A second memory stores content-related information which is related to the content. A second processor specifies the content-related information according to the progress status information generated by the first processor. A second display displays the content-related information according to a player input received by the second processor. The first processor generates the progress status information in response to at least one of a predetermined condition being satisfied in relation to the progress status of the content or a specific operation being received by the first processor.
